What commission never changes

Mattress price tables are sorted by price. The cheapest retailer is highlighted because it is the cheapest, not because of what it pays us.

All verdicts and rankings are editorial and based on data. No brand or retailer can buy a verdict or a ranking position. They are set by the process described in how we test.

Our discount judgements use real data. We assess deals against our own recorded price history, not against inflated recommended retail prices. We'll let you know if a 'half price' sale never ends.

No pre-publication access. Brands and retailers do not see, approve or edit our content before it goes live, though we may ask them to check facts like sizes or materials.

Advertising and paid placements

Mattress Unboxed offers paid placements which are clearly labelled. They never appear inside our verdicts or price comparisons and never influence a verdict or a recommendation.
