Why should you choose this mattress?
The biggest draw is choice: Brook + Wilde sells it in Soft, Medium or Firm, so you can pick the feel that suits how you sleep. The aurora foam has an open cell structure for breathability and moisture evaporation, which should help you stay comfortable. Wave technology creates four support zones, with the foot end feeling slightly firmer. The cover unzips for washing and is OEKO-TEX 100-certified. The layered springs add a little bounce, although the mattress can't be flipped, so choosing the right feel first time matters.
Key features & layer details
Removable, washable top cover
A cover that unzips for washing, treated with Bugshield cover technology and OEKO-TEX 100-certified. That makes it easy to keep fresh.
Memory foam protector
A memory foam layer that allows the top cover to move freely while the first memory foam layer works independently. That means the cover and foam can each do their own job.
Premium-grade aurora foam
A high-density foam with an open cell structure for breathability and moisture evaporation. Its wave technology feels slightly firmer at the foot end, so you get zoned support as well as airflow.
Supporting foam layer
A second layer of high-grade supporting foam that adds depth and density for structure and stability. It also cushions pressure points.
2,000 pocket springs
The first layer of 2,000 springs in the 5,000 composite spring unit, which compresses first to support your contact points. That means the springs respond where you press down most.
1,000 nano springs
A layer of 1,000 super-soft nano springs that gives extra bounce. That means a bouncier feel underneath the foam.
2,000 more pocket springs
A further 2,000 pocket springs that complete the composite spring unit. They give the layers above a springy base to work from.
The support base
A high-density, environmentally responsible foam base that gives solidity to the layers above. It keeps the whole build stable.
Non-slip base
A base layer that keeps the mattress in place on the bed base. That means less chance of it shifting around.

Best suited for?
Warm sleepers
The aurora foam has an open cell structure for breathability and moisture evaporation, which should help you stay more comfortable if you tend to run hot.
Allergy sufferers
The cover unzips for washing and is OEKO-TEX 100-certified with Bugshield treatment, which makes it easy to keep the sleep surface fresh.
Combination sleepers
Layered pocket and nano springs add a little bounce under the foam, which means changing position feels easier than on a mattress with foam alone.
Couples
Available in UK double, king and super king, with a non-slip base that keeps it in place, so two people get room and a stable bed.
Eco-conscious buyers
The support base is a high-density, environmentally responsible foam, and the cover carries OEKO-TEX 100 certification, giving a more considered build.
If you want a mattress you can flip, this might not be the best choice, as the wave technology means it isn't flippable. Brook + Wilde doesn't publish a single firmness rating, so you'll need to choose your feel carefully. It's also priced at the premium end, and it doesn't come in a UK small single or UK small double.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.

FAQ's
How firm is the Brook + Wilde Suprema?
Brook + Wilde doesn't publish one firmness rating, because you choose a Soft, Medium or Firm feel. Pick the one that matches how you like to sleep. The foot end is designed to feel slightly firmer than the rest.
What sizes does the Brook + Wilde Suprema come in?
It comes in a UK single, UK double, UK king and UK super king. There's no UK small single or UK small double, so if you need either of those, this mattress won't fit your bed.
How deep is the Brook + Wilde Suprema?
The Suprema is 29cm deep. That's worth checking against your bed frame and any fitted sheets you already own, particularly if your frame has a deep headboard or sides.
How many springs does the Brook + Wilde Suprema have?
It has a 5,000 composite spring unit: 2,000 pocket springs, then 1,000 super-soft nano springs for extra bounce, then another 2,000 pocket springs. Foam layers sit above the springs and a high-density foam base sits below.
Does the Brook + Wilde Suprema come with a trial?
Yes, Brook + Wilde offers a 200-night trial and a 10-year guarantee. It also includes free premium delivery with unboxing and old mattress removal, which is handy if you're replacing an existing bed.
