Why should you choose this mattress?
The memory foam layer adapts and moulds to your body, so you get pressure-easing cushioning while keeping the traditional feel of open springs. Classic tufts keep the fillings in place, and the knitted cover has a soft touch. A medium rating suits a wide range of sleepers, and Dreams Workshop says it works in every sleeping position, although anyone who wants a firm feel may find it too soft. It's made at Birmingham Bed Factory in the UK, and with an affordable price level it's an easy option to consider for a spare room.
Key features & layer details
Memory foam layer
A responsive memory foam layer that adapts and moulds to your body, which means cushioning that eases pressure where you press into the mattress.
Open springs
A traditional open spring unit, which means the classic support of an open coil mattress. Dreams Workshop doesn't publish a spring count.

Best suited for?
Side sleepers
The memory foam layer moulds to your body and eases pressure where you press into the mattress, which suits the contact points of side sleeping.
Back sleepers
A medium rating paired with open spring support gives a balanced, traditional feel that suits lying on your back, as the mattress is made for every sleeping position.
Combination sleepers
Made for every sleeping position, this medium mattress gives a consistent feel whether you stay put or turn over during the night.
Guest rooms
An affordable price level makes it an easy option for a spare room, and the medium feel suits a wide range of visitors.
If you prefer sleeping on a firm mattress, this might not be the best choice, as it's rated medium. It's also a traditional open spring build, so if you want individually wrapped springs to limit partner disturbance, this isn't that kind of mattress. Dreams Workshop doesn't publish a spring count either.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.
