Why should you choose this mattress?
The main draw is the natural build. Swaledale wool, hemp and flax wick moisture, which should suit you if you tend to wake up warm or clammy. It's made without glue, chemicals or foam, so it's a sensible pick if you want to avoid synthetic materials, and it's recyclable at the end of its life. More than 20 bedmakers craft each mattress, which points to careful construction. The pillow top gives the surface a more cushioned feel. It will suit you best if natural materials matter more to you than a published firmness grade.
Key features & layer details
We’re still collecting information on this mattress. Unfortunately, we don’t have its key features yet.
Best suited for?
Warm sleepers
Swaledale wool, hemp and flax wick moisture, which means the mattress should feel drier and less clammy if you tend to wake up warm.
Eco-conscious buyers
It is made with natural wool, hemp and flax, without glue, chemicals or foam, and it is recyclable at the end of its life.
Allergy sufferers
The build avoids glue, chemicals and foam, so it suits anyone who wants to steer clear of synthetic materials in their bed.
If you want to know the firmness before you buy, this might not be the best choice. Flaxby doesn't publish a firmness rating, a depth, or a layer breakdown, so you can't judge the feel or whether it fits your frame from the specs alone. The premium price level may also put off anyone shopping on cost.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.
