Why should you choose this mattress?
The pocket springs sit in individual cloth pockets, so they move independently and contour to your child's body, which means support follows their shape rather than pushing back in one spot. The medium feel is a sensible middle ground for most children. The knitted cover and soft fibre layer add a cosy surface. It's hypoallergenic and chemical treatment-free, and the cover is 100% recyclable, which will appeal if you want a more eco-minded choice. Turning handles make it easier to rotate, and the rolled box delivery is simple to get upstairs. It's also National Bed Federation approved and handcrafted in the UK.

Soft White Fibres comfort layer
A soft synthetic filling that gives the mattress a cosy feel. It adds gentle cushioning between your child and the springs.
Pocket springs

Best suited for?
Children
Made as a children's mattress in UK Single, it has a medium feel and soft knitted cover that give kids a balance of cushioning and support.
Eco-conscious buyers
The knitted cover is 100% recyclable and the mattress is chemical treatment-free, which suits anyone wanting a more eco-minded choice for their child's bed.
Allergy sufferers
Being hypoallergenic and free from chemical treatments, it gives a cleaner sleep surface for children whose households want to limit irritants.
Combination sleepers
Pocket springs in individual cloth pockets move independently and contour to the body, so support follows your child's shape as they change position.
If your child needs a firm mattress, this might not be the best choice, as it's rated medium. It isn't flippable, so you can only rotate it, and it only comes in UK Single. Jay-Be doesn't publish a spring count, so you can't compare it with other mattresses on that measure.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.

FAQ's
How firm is the Jay-Be QUEST Q2 e-Pocket?
It's rated medium, so it sits between soft and firm. That suits most children, although a child who needs firmer support, or who prefers a softer, sinking feel, may find it not quite right.
What size does the Jay-Be QUEST Q2 e-Pocket come in?
It comes in UK Single only, measuring 90 x 190cm. If you need a small single, double or any other size, you'll need to consider a different mattress.
How deep is the Jay-Be QUEST Q2 e-Pocket?
It's 18cm deep. That's a moderate depth for a children's mattress, and it should work with most standard single bed frames, but check your frame's recess if it's a tight fit.
Is the Jay-Be QUEST Q2 e-Pocket hypoallergenic?
Yes, it's listed as hypoallergenic and chemical treatment-free. The knitted cover is also 100% recyclable, so it suits families who want fewer chemicals in the bedroom and a more eco-minded choice.
Does the Jay-Be QUEST Q2 e-Pocket come with a trial or guarantee?
Jay-Be gives a 5-year guarantee. Mattress Online offers its own 100-night comfort trial, which is the retailer's offer rather than Jay-Be's, so check its conditions before you buy.
