Why should you choose this mattress?
The main draw is the layering. A deep pillow top sits over micro-spring tiers of 2,000, 4,000 and 4,000 springs, each finer toward the surface, so the top of the bed is built for cushioning. Beneath that, the ErgoZone 7 core gives zoned support, which means different areas of your body are supported differently. The Ultra Edge reinforced border helps the sides hold their shape. The natural materials, including Hampshire wool, English cotton and silk, appeal if you want to avoid a mostly synthetic mattress. It suits anyone who wants a plush, layered feel, although you should confirm the tension before you order.
Key features & layer details
Pillow top
The deepest pillow top over the micro-spring tiers. It adds a cushioned surface layer, so the mattress feels plusher on top.
Comfonomic micro-spring tier
Three graduated micro-spring layers of 2,000, 4,000 and 4,000 springs, each progressively finer toward the surface. That means the surface responds to your body in small steps rather than all at once.
ErgoZone 7 core
A core of 1,000 ErgoZone 7 pocket springs beneath the micro-spring layers. It gives zoned support, so different areas of your body are supported differently.

Best suited for?
Side sleepers
The deep pillow top and graduated micro-spring tiers give a cushioned surface that responds in small steps, which suits the way shoulders and hips press into a bed.
Eco-conscious buyers
Hampshire wool, English cotton and silk feature in the build, which means the mattress is not made up mostly of synthetic materials.
Couples
The Ultra Edge reinforced border helps the sides hold their shape, and the range runs up to UK super king, so there is room for two.
Lighter sleepers
A deep pillow top over finer micro-spring layers gives a plush, cushioned feel at the surface, which lighter sleepers can sink into comfortably.
If you need to know the firmness before you buy, this might not be the best choice, because none is stated for this version and it's sold in more than one tension. The deep pillow top is built for cushioning, so anyone after a flat, tightly sprung surface may find it too plush. It's single-sided: rotate it head to toe, never flip.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.
