Why should you choose this mattress?
The two 3000-spring micro-layers sit on top of a core of 1000 ErgoZone 7 pocket springs, and the zoned core is there to support different parts of your body. The pillow top adds cushioning, and the tuft-free cover gives a smooth surface with no tufting to feel. An Ultra Edge border is designed to give edge-to-edge support, so you can use more of the bed. The natural fillings suit anyone who prefers wool and cotton to foam. It's handmade in the UK and comes with a 5-year guarantee. The main unknown is firmness, which Millbrook doesn't publish.

Best suited for?
Eco-conscious buyers
Hampshire wool, English cotton and cashgora fill this handmade UK mattress, so it suits anyone who wants natural materials over foam.
Couples
The Ultra Edge border is designed to give edge-to-edge support, so two people can use more of the bed, and a UK super king size is available.
Combination sleepers
A tuft-free cover gives a smooth surface with no tufting to feel, which makes shifting position across the bed feel easier.
Allergy sufferers
The SmoothTech cover is described as chemical-free, which suits anyone who wants a cleaner, simpler mattress without synthetic foam layers.
If you need to know the firmness before you buy, this might not be the best choice, as Millbrook doesn't publish a rating and the tension options are described differently by sellers. It isn't flippable either, so you can only rotate it. If you want a foam mattress or a very slim one, the natural fillings and 34cm depth won't suit.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.
