Sealy Elevate Hagen Mattress

Assessed from the specification published by crushedvelvetbedstore.co.uk, captured November 2026, and from regular price comparison across our UK retail partners.

Choose it if you want firm, even support rather than a soft sink. The twice-tempered AlignSupport Coil gives deep-down support, and the double layer of extra firm foam keeps the surface flat. The MemorySense ComfortCore sits under the hips and lower back, so you still get some pressure relief where it counts. The UniCased edge adds support at the sides, and the SmarTex Plus cover is cool-to-touch. ProShield allergen protection is endorsed by Allergy UK, which is reassuring if allergens concern you. It suits back sleepers best, although anyone who likes some give may find it a lot.

Back sleepers
A double layer of extra firm foam keeps the surface flat, so your body stays level on top with very little sink.

Allergy sufferers
ProShield allergen protection is endorsed by Allergy UK, which gives extra reassurance if allergens are a concern in your bedroom.

Warm sleepers
The SmarTex Plus cover is cool-to-touch, so the surface feels fresher when you get into bed.

Couples
The UniCased edge adds support at the sides, so the mattress stays stable when either of you sits or sleeps near the edge.

If you prefer sleeping on a soft or medium mattress, this might not be the best choice. It's rated extra firm, so there's very little give for shoulders and hips, which side sleepers and lighter sleepers may find uncomfortable. It's also single-sided and can't be flipped, so you're limited to the one surface it comes with.

How firm is the Sealy Elevate Hagen Mattress?

It's rated extra firm, so expect a flat, unyielding feel with very little sink. That suits sleepers who want firm support, although anyone who likes a softer, cushioned surface will probably find it too hard.

What sizes does the Sealy Elevate Hagen Mattress come in?

It comes in a UK single, UK double, UK king and UK super king. If your bed frame takes a different size, you'll need to choose another mattress, so measure your frame before you order.

How deep is the Sealy Elevate Hagen Mattress?

It's 28cm deep. That's worth checking against your bed frame if it has a shallow recess, as the mattress holds a coil system, a ComfortCore and a double layer of extra firm foam.

Does the Sealy Elevate Hagen Mattress come with a trial or guarantee?

Dreams offers a 100-night trial, and that's the retailer's own offer rather than Sealy's. The mattress also has a 7-year guarantee, so it's worth reading the terms before you order.

Is the Sealy Elevate Hagen Mattress good for people with allergies?

It has ProShield allergen protection, which is endorsed by Allergy UK, so it's a sensible option if allergens bother you. Bear in mind it's extra firm, so check the feel suits you too.
