Why should you choose this mattress?
This is a firm mattress with some cushioning built in, which is a useful mix. The medium foam on top softens the first touch, and the MemoryFlex layer adapts to your body for pressure relief. The MemorySense ComfortCore focuses on heavier areas like the hips and lower back, so support is tailored where you carry most weight. The cover is cool to the touch, and the ProShield allergen treatment is endorsed by Allergy UK. It suits most back sleepers, although lighter side sleepers may find it a little unyielding.
Key features & layer details
Sealy medium foam
A top layer of Sealy medium foam, described as soft yet supportive. It takes the edge off the firm rating so the surface feels a little more welcoming when you lie down.
MemoryFlex comfort layer
A full layer of MemoryFlex that adapts to your body shape. It gives pressure relief, so your shoulders and hips are cushioned rather than pushed back against.
MemorySense ComfortCore
A core that focuses on heavier areas like the hips and lower back. That means support is tailored to where your body needs it most.

Best suited for?
Back sleepers
A firm feel with a MemorySense ComfortCore that focuses support on the hips and lower back, which means your midsection stays held up while you lie flat.
Warm sleepers
The SmarTex Plus cover is cool to the touch, which means the surface feels fresher when you first lie down on a warm night.
Allergy sufferers
The ProShield allergen treatment is endorsed by Allergy UK, which gives anyone sensitive to household allergens a reassuring choice of mattress.
Heavier sleepers
The ComfortCore targets heavier areas like the hips and lower back, so support is tailored to where most weight sits, with firm feel underneath.
If you prefer sleeping on a soft or medium mattress, this might not be the best choice. It's rated firm, and although the top layer adds some cushioning, the overall feel stays firm. Lighter side sleepers may notice pressure at the shoulders and hips. It also can't be flipped, so you're limited to rotating it.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.

FAQ's
How firm is the Sealy Elevate Ultra Daito Mattress?
It's rated firm. The medium foam on top gives the surface a softer first touch, but the overall feel stays firm, so it suits sleepers who want solid support more than a plush, sinking feel.
What sizes does the Sealy Elevate Ultra Daito Mattress come in?
It comes in a UK single, UK double, UK king and UK super king. A UK small single or UK small double isn't listed, so check your bed frame size before choosing.
How deep is the Sealy Elevate Ultra Daito Mattress?
It's 31cm deep. That's a substantial mattress, so if your bed frame has a shallow headboard or side rails, check there's enough clearance and that your fitted sheets are deep enough.
Is the Sealy Elevate Ultra Daito Mattress good for hot sleepers?
It has a SmarTex Plus cover that's cool to the touch, which helps the surface feel fresher when you get in. It also has memory foam layers, so how warm you sleep overnight will vary from person to person.
Is the Sealy Elevate Ultra Daito Mattress good for side sleepers?
It can work for heavier side sleepers who want firm support with some cushioning from the foam layers. Lighter side sleepers may find a firm mattress too unyielding at the shoulders and hips.
