Why should you choose this mattress?
The latex comfort layer on top is described as adjusting with your movements, so it should ease pressure without feeling stuck. Beneath it, medium and firm Sealy foams add the medium feel and a firmer base, and the high-profile springs form the core support. UniKey edge support helps the sides hold up, and the SilverFresh woven cover and Allergy UK certified ProShield barrier suit anyone wary of allergens. Overall it suits most back and side sleepers, although those wanting a very soft or very firm surface may want something different.
Key features & layer details
Latex comfort layer
A latex layer that gives pressure relief adjusting with your movements, so the surface follows you as you shift position.
Sealy Premium Medium Foam
Sealy premium foam combined with latex to create the medium feel, which gives a balanced, not-too-soft surface.
Sealy Premium Firm Foam
A second Sealy premium foam layer, in firm, completing the comfort stack. It adds a firmer base so you don't sink too far.
PostureTech Core Support Plus springs
High-profile, 6-turn springs, twice tempered, forming the core support. They give the mattress its underlying support and structure.
Layer details from crushedvelvetbedstore.co.uk product page, November 2026.
Best suited for?
Side sleepers
The latex comfort layer adjusts with your movements, which means it should ease pressure at the shoulders and hips without feeling stuck.
Back sleepers
Firm Sealy foam beneath the medium layer and high-profile springs in the core give a supportive base, so the surface feels balanced rather than sinking.
Combination sleepers
Latex that follows you as you shift position, plus a medium feel, means changing sides during the night should not feel like pushing against the surface.
Allergy sufferers
The SilverFresh woven cover and Allergy UK certified ProShield barrier are built in, which suits anyone who is wary of allergens in their bed.
Couples
UniKey edge support helps the sides hold up, and a medium feel with a firm foam base suits two people sharing the bed.
If you prefer sleeping on a firm mattress, this might not be the best choice, as it's rated medium. It's also a poor fit if you want a very plush, sink-in surface. It can't be flipped either, so you're limited to rotating it. Sealy's spring count isn't published, so you can't compare that against other models.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.

FAQ's
How firm is the Sealy PostureLux Kindra Mattress?
It's rated medium. The latex comfort layer and Sealy medium foam create that feel, with a firm foam layer below. It suits most sleepers, although anyone wanting a distinctly soft or firm surface may prefer another rating.
What sizes does the Sealy PostureLux Kindra come in?
It comes in a UK single, UK double, UK king and UK super king. Sizes such as a UK small single or UK small double aren't listed, so check your bed frame before ordering.
How deep is the Sealy PostureLux Kindra Mattress?
It's 30cm deep. That's enough for a latex layer, two foam layers and a spring core, and you may want to check your sheets are deep enough to fit.
Does the Sealy PostureLux Kindra come with a trial or guarantee?
Dreams offers a 100-night trial, and that's the retailer's own offer. The mattress also carries a 5-year guarantee, which is presented as the manufacturer's.
Is the Sealy PostureLux Kindra good for allergy sufferers?
It has a ProShield allergen barrier, which is Allergy UK certified, plus a SilverFresh woven cover. That makes it a sensible pick if allergens worry you, though it isn't a medical treatment.
