Why should you choose this mattress?
This is a good pick if you want firm support without giving up all cushioning. The Black Diamond foam on top feels cool as you lie down, which helps if you often get hot. Beneath it, a plant-based foam cushions the hips and lower back, so firm doesn't have to mean hard. The twice-tempered coils are built for strength and durability, and the UniCased edge support should make the sides more dependable for sitting on. The mattress is endorsed by Allergy UK, which may reassure you if allergies are a worry. It suits most back sleepers, although lighter side sleepers may find it a little unyielding.
Key features & layer details
INFUSE Black Diamond foam
The top layer, designed to give an instant cooling feel. That means the surface feels fresh when you first lie down.
INFUSE Eco ComfortCore foam
A sustainable plant-based foam that cushions the hips and lower back. It adds some give to an otherwise firm mattress.
AlignSupport Coil
Sealy's patented coils, twice tempered for extra strength and durability. They form the supportive base, so the mattress should keep its firm feel over time.

Best suited for?
Back sleepers
The firm feel and plant-based foam that cushions the hips and lower back give steady support with some give, which suits lying on your back.
Warm sleepers
Black Diamond foam on the top layer gives an instant cooling feel, so the surface feels fresh when you first lie down.
Allergy sufferers
Endorsement from Allergy UK may reassure anyone who worries about allergies when choosing a mattress.
Eco-conscious buyers
The middle layer is a sustainable plant-based foam, which adds some cushioning to the firm feel while using a more planet-friendly material.
If you prefer sleeping on a soft or medium mattress, this might not be the best choice. It's rated firm, and the foam layers cushion the hips and lower back rather than sink you in. Lighter side sleepers may feel pressure at the shoulders. It's single-sided, so you can rotate it but not flip it.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.

It comes in a UK single, UK small double, UK double, UK king and UK super king. Check the size you need against your bed frame before you order.
How deep is the Sealy PosturePedic Sandridge?
It's 30cm deep. That's a fairly deep mattress, so check that your bed frame and bedding suit it before ordering.
Does the Sealy PosturePedic Sandridge have a trial?
Dreams offers a 100-night comfort trial on it. The mattress also comes with a 7-year guarantee. Check the retailer's terms for how a trial or return works.
