Silentnight Aloe Vera Castleton 800 Pocket Eco Mattress

Assessed from the specification published by dreams.co.uk, captured November 2026, and from regular price comparison across our UK retail partners.

The 800 Mirapocket springs work independently, which means less motion travels across the bed when your partner turns over. The firmer zone through the centre gives extra support where your body needs it, while the medium rating keeps the surface comfortable rather than hard. Comfort Breathe fibres help regulate temperature, which suits people who tend to feel warm. The aloe vera-infused cover is soft to the touch and naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial. Overall it suits most back and side sleepers, although anyone with strong firmness preferences may want something different.

Couples
Independent 800 Mirapocket springs mean less motion travels across the bed, so you are less likely to feel your partner turning over.

Warm sleepers
Comfort Breathe fibres help regulate temperature, which suits anyone who tends to feel warm during the night.

Back sleepers
A firmer zone through the centre adds support where your body needs it, while the medium rating keeps the surface comfortable rather than hard.

Side sleepers
The medium feel keeps the surface comfortable rather than hard, and the pocket springs work independently to respond to your body's shape.

Allergy sufferers
The soft-touch aloe vera-infused cover is naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, which makes it a sensible pick if you are sensitive to irritants.

If you prefer sleeping on a firm mattress, this might not be the best choice, as it's rated medium. The same goes if you want a very soft feel. Silentnight doesn't publish a depth for it, so check with the retailer if your bed frame has depth limits. A pocket spring feel is also less hugging than a deep foam mattress.

How firm is the Silentnight Aloe Vera Castleton 800 Pocket Eco?

It's rated medium, with firmer support through the centre. That makes it a balanced choice for many back and side sleepers, although anyone wanting a distinctly firm or soft feel may prefer a different rating.

What sizes does the Silentnight Aloe Vera Castleton 800 Pocket Eco come in?

It comes in a UK single, UK small double, UK double, UK king and UK super king. Check your bed frame size against these before choosing.

How deep is the Silentnight Aloe Vera Castleton 800 Pocket Eco?

Silentnight doesn't publish a depth for this mattress. If your bed frame or fitted sheets have depth limits, check with the retailer before you buy.

Is the Silentnight Aloe Vera Castleton 800 Pocket Eco good for couples?

Yes, in most cases. The 800 Mirapocket springs work independently to isolate motion, so a partner's movements should be less noticeable. Couples with very different firmness preferences may still find the medium feel doesn't suit both.

Is the Silentnight Aloe Vera Castleton 800 Pocket Eco good for hot sleepers?

It may help. Comfort Breathe fibres are included to help regulate temperature. It isn't described as a dedicated cooling mattress, so very hot sleepers may want one with specific cooling features.
