Why should you choose this mattress?
The gel foam layer moulds around your shape to relieve pressure, which is welcome if you sleep on your side and want your shoulders and hips cushioned. Underneath, the 2000 Mirapocket springs are firmer in the centre third, so your middle isn't left to sink. Soft polyester fibres add breathability, while a reinforced rod edge and dense fibres help the mattress keep its stability. It's a good fit for side sleepers and lighter to average-weight sleepers, although back sleepers who like a flatter surface may find it a little soft.
Key features & layer details
Easyflex Gel foam
A 3cm gel foam layer that moulds around your shape and has an open cell structure for airflow. That means pressure relief at your shoulders and hips, with less trapped heat.
Soft polyester fibres
A soft fibre layer that adds breathability and supports the spring unit. You get a little extra airflow and a smoother feel above the springs.
Dense polyester fibres
A denser fibre layer that enhances the stability of the mattress. It helps the surface stay steady and supported.
Mirapocket spring unit
2000 zoned Mirapocket springs in fabric pockets, firmer in the centre third, with a rod edge across the top and bottom of the unit. This gives firmer support through your middle and a more stable edge.

Best suited for?
Side sleepers
A 3cm gel foam layer moulds around your shape, which means your shoulders and hips are cushioned when you lie on your side.
Lighter sleepers
The medium soft rating and gel foam top layer give a plush feel that lighter to average-weight sleepers can sink into comfortably.
Warm sleepers
Open cell gel foam and a soft polyester fibre layer let air move through the top of the bed, so less heat gets trapped.
If you prefer sleeping on a firm mattress, this might not be the best choice. It's rated medium soft, so heavier sleepers and front sleepers may find it gives too much. It's single-sided too, so you can rotate it but not flip it. It also comes only in a UK small double, which won't suit every couple.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.

FAQ's
How firm is the Silentnight Easyflex Gel 2000 Mirapocket?
It's rated medium soft, a little softer than a medium. That suits side sleepers and lighter to average-weight sleepers well, although anyone who wants a firm, flat surface will probably find it too forgiving.
What size does the Silentnight Easyflex Gel 2000 Mirapocket come in?
It comes in a UK small double, which measures 120 x 190cm. If you need a UK double, UK king or UK super king, you'll need to look at a different model or retailer.
How deep is the Silentnight Easyflex Gel 2000 Mirapocket?
It's 31cm deep. That's a fairly substantial mattress, so check that your bed frame and bedding suit that height before you buy.
What is the Silentnight Easyflex Gel 2000 Mirapocket made of?
It has a 3cm Easyflex Gel foam top, soft and dense polyester fibre layers, and 2000 zoned Mirapocket springs in fabric pockets. The springs are firmer in the centre third and finished with a rod edge.
Does the Silentnight Easyflex Gel 2000 Mirapocket come with a trial or guarantee?
Silentnight gives a 5-year guarantee. Mattress Online offers its own 100-night comfort trial, but it's exchange only and you need to buy a mattress protector from them.
