Why should you choose this mattress?
The pillow top works as a stitched-in topper, so you get a softer, cushioned surface without a separate layer to slip about. Beneath it, thick memory foam moulds to your body and responds to warmth and pressure, while individually pocketed springs target pressure relief. The knitted cover is breathable and the mattress is hypoallergenic. It's non-turn, so you only need to rotate it monthly. Suits most sleepers who want a cushioned feel, although it may be more contouring than some people like.
Key features & layer details
Pillow top and knitted cover
A stitched-in pillow top that acts like a built-in topper, under a soft knitted cover. It gives the surface a cushioned feel without a separate topper to slip about.
Memory foam
Thick memory foam that moulds to your body, reacting to natural warmth and pressure. That means it contours around your shoulders and hips.
High-density and soft polyester layers
High-density and soft polyester layers that add support and recovery. They help the mattress spring back after you move.
1200 pocket springs
Individually pocketed springs that target pressure relief and contour to your body. The 1200 count is stated for a UK king, so it may differ in other sizes.

Best suited for?
Side sleepers
Thick memory foam moulds to your body and contours around your shoulders and hips, which gives a cushioned feel when you lie on your side.
Allergy sufferers
The mattress is hypoallergenic and has a breathable knitted cover, which makes it a sensible pick if you want a cleaner-feeling sleep surface.
Couples
Individually pocketed springs contour to your body, and the mattress comes in UK king and super king sizes, so two people get plenty of room.
Combination sleepers
High-density and soft polyester layers help the mattress spring back after you move, which suits anyone who changes position during the night.
If you prefer sleeping on a firm mattress, this might not be the best choice. It's rated medium, and the pillow top and memory foam make the surface feel softer and more enveloping. You also can't flip it, so you're limited to rotating it monthly. Anyone wanting a flat, unyielding surface may find it too cushioned.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.
