Komfi Unity Memory Mattress in a Box

Assessed from Komfi's published specification for this mattress, captured October 2026, and from regular price comparison across our UK retail partners.

The memory foam top layer contours to your body shape, so you get a hugging feel rather than a bouncy one. Below it, the Reflex foam is there for head-to-toe, edge-to-edge support, so the mattress should feel even across the whole surface. The cover is removable and washable with a zip, which makes it easier to keep fresh. It's single-sided, so you rotate it head to toe rather than flipping it. It's an affordable option that suits anyone who likes the enclosed feel of memory foam, although without a published firmness you'll need to check the feel against your own preference.

Budget buyers
Described as an affordable option, this all-foam mattress gives you three layers and a 10-year guarantee without stretching to a premium design.

Eco-conscious buyers
The Ecofoam base core, which Komfi says has a reduced carbon footprint, gives the layers above a foundation with a lighter environmental impact.

Side sleepers
The Neuform memory foam top layer contours to your body shape, which means shoulders and hips should be cushioned with a hugging feel.

Guest rooms
A removable, washable zip cover makes it easier to keep fresh between visitors, and the 19cm foam build arrives rolled in a box.

If you want to know the firmness before you buy, this might not be the best choice, as Komfi doesn't publish one. It's also all foam, with no springs, so anyone who prefers a bouncy, springy feel may find it too sinking. At 19cm deep, it's not a particularly thick mattress either.

How firm is the Komfi Unity Memory?

Komfi doesn't publish a firmness rating for it. The top layer is memory foam that contours to your body, and the Reflex foam below is described as giving gentle support, so it's worth checking the feel against your own preference.

What sizes does the Komfi Unity Memory come in?

Komfi lists UK Single, Small Double, Double and King. Archers Sleepcentre also lists a UK Small Single, so check the size table before you order if you need that one.

How deep is the Komfi Unity Memory?

It's 19cm deep in every size listed. That's the full depth of the three foam layers, so check it suits your bed frame and how high you like your bed.

What is the Komfi Unity Memory made of?

It's all foam, built from three layers: a Neuform memory foam top, a Reflex foam middle and an Ecofoam base core. Komfi says the Ecofoam has a reduced carbon footprint. There are no springs in it.

Does the Komfi Unity Memory come with a trial or guarantee?

Komfi gives a 10-year guarantee. Archers Sleepcentre offers a 60-night trial, and that's the retailer's own offer, not Komfi's. Its 60-night guarantee requires a Purecare mattress protector to be bought with the mattress.
