Why should you choose this mattress?
The firm feel comes from a 13 cm base of high density ecofoam, so you get a flat, supportive surface rather than a sinking one. The 2 cm memory foam layer on top adds gentle contouring at the shoulders and hips, which takes the edge off the firmness. The cover is removable and washable, and the foam is hypoallergenic, which is handy if you want an easy-care mattress. The base is recycled, re-engineered foam. It suits most back sleepers, although side sleepers who want deep cushioning may find it a little unyielding.
Key features & layer details
Memory foam top layer
A 2 cm layer of Neuform memory foam. It gives gentle contouring that eases pressure on your shoulders, hips and joints, without making the mattress feel soft.
Ecofoam base layer
A 13 cm base of high density ecofoam, made from recycled, re-engineered foam. It provides the firm, steady support that defines how this mattress feels.

Best suited for?
Back sleepers
The 13 cm high density ecofoam base gives a flat, steady surface, so your body stays supported rather than sinking into the mattress.
Allergy sufferers
Hypoallergenic foam and a removable, washable cover mean the mattress is easy to keep fresh and suits anyone wanting a low-fuss sleep surface.
Eco-conscious buyers
The base is made from recycled, re-engineered ecofoam, so a large part of the mattress reuses material instead of relying on all-new foam.
Guest rooms
It arrives vacuum packed and rolled in a box, and a firm, flat feel with a washable cover suits a bed that is only used now and then.
If you prefer sleeping on a soft mattress, this might not be the best choice. It's rated firm, and the memory foam layer is only 2 cm thick, so the cushioning is light. Side sleepers who want to sink in around the shoulders and hips may find it too firm. It's also single sided, so it can't be flipped.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.
