Layer Details
Memory foam top layer
A 2 cm layer of Neuform memory foam. It gives gentle contouring that eases pressure on your shoulders, hips and joints, without making the mattress feel soft.
Ecofoam base layer
A 13 cm base of high density ecofoam, made from recycled, re-engineered foam. It provides the firm, steady support that defines how this mattress feels.

Key benefits
- Room for two on a firm surface: At 75cm each, you can lie on your back with arms by your sides without nudging your partner, which suits the flat posture this firm mattress is built around.
- Less contact when schedules differ: If one of you is up hours before the other, the extra 7.5cm each over a UK double gives a little more distance between you as they get up.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, so a partner over six foot is far less likely to have their feet at the edge.
- A firm base edge to edge: The 13 cm high density ecofoam base runs the full 150cm width, so both sides feel equally steady rather than one side softening into a dip.
- Standard bedding fits: Ordinary king sheets fit, and a 230 x 220cm king duvet covers you both, so you won't need to hunt for unusual sizes.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and have started to feel cramped on a double, one of you is over six foot and wants your feet fully on the mattress, or you go to bed and wake at different times and want a little more space between you on a firm, supportive surface.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m once wardrobes are in. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

FAQ's
Is the Komfi Unity Visco Ortho UK king big enough for two people?
Yes, for most couples. The UK king gives 75cm each for two people sharing, against 67.5cm each on the UK double, so you gain 7.5cm of personal width. On a firm mattress like this, where you lie on top rather than sink in, that extra space makes it easier to change position without disturbing your partner.
Is the UK king Komfi Unity Visco Ortho long enough for a tall person?
At 200cm (6ft 6in), the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, the UK small double and the UK single. If one of you is over six foot, that extra length is often the bigger upgrade, because it lets your feet stay on the mattress rather than resting near the edge.
What size bedroom do I need for a UK king mattress?
We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, with around 3.2m x 3.2m feeling comfortable. New build master bedrooms can look generous empty but shrink once wardrobes go in, so measure with the furniture in place and leave room to walk round both sides.
What bedding fits the Komfi Unity Visco Ortho in a UK king?
Standard king sheets fit, and a 230 x 220cm king duvet gives enough overhang for two. The mattress is 15cm deep, which is on the slimmer side, so a fitted sheet with very deep pockets may sit loosely; a standard depth sheet will hold more neatly.
Is the UK king the biggest size of the Komfi Unity Visco Ortho?
Yes. This mattress comes in five sizes, from UK small single up to UK king, so there is no UK super king version. If you want more than 75cm each, you would need to look at a different mattress.
