Pillow Top
A plush pillow top with up to 1200 mini pocket springs, working like a stitched-in mattress topper. You get that soft, cushioned first touch without needing to buy a separate topper.
Cool Gel Memory Foam
Memory foam infused with gel microbeads to regulate temperature and improve breathability, designed to draw heat away from the body. In practice, that means the contouring feel of memory foam with less heat build-up overnight.
Comfort Foam
Layers of Comfort Foam that cradle pressure points and relieve pressure across the whole body. Side sleepers should notice this most around the hips and shoulders.
Pocket Springs
Up to 800 individually pocketed springs that move independently to target support where you need it and keep your spine aligned. Independent movement also means less disturbance when a partner shifts position.
Layer details from mattressnextday.co.uk product page, September 2026.
- Distance from a restless partner: With 90cm each for two people sharing, plus up to 800 pocket springs moving independently underneath, a fidgeting partner becomes far easier to sleep through.
- Room for the whole household: At 6ft x 6ft 6in, there's genuine space left over when a child pads in at 3am or a large dog treats the bed as routine.
- Cooling matters more when you're sharing: Two bodies generate more heat than one, so the gel-infused memory foam pulling warmth away from you counts for more at this width.
- Plush comfort across the full width: The stitched-in pillow top with up to 1200 mini pocket springs runs edge to edge, so nobody drifts towards a firmer, less cushioned strip.
- A tall mattress for a big bed: At 37cm deep across a 180cm frame it's a substantial presence, so check the room can carry it and that super king deep-fitted sheets are in the budget.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and want the maximum space a standard UK size offers, your children or pets regularly join you and everyone still needs their own patch, or your partner sleeps hot and restless and you've decided distance solves what comfort layers can't.
Consider another size if...
Your room is under our suggested 3m x 2.9m minimum, or you sleep alone and the width would go unused. We'd recommend the UK king instead: it's 30cm narrower, the same length, and we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it.

Is the Coolflex Hybrid CHILL super king good for couples who sleep hot?
It's a sensible fit. Sharing a bed raises the temperature under the duvet, and this mattress is built around cooling, with gel microbeads in the memory foam designed to draw heat away. Combine that with 90cm each for two people sharing and you get both less warmth and more distance from it.
What room size do I need for the Coolflex Hybrid CHILL in a UK super king?
We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m as a working minimum, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling comfortable once you add bedside tables and walking space. In a period master or a large new build bedroom the 180 x 200cm footprint sits well; in a smaller room it can dominate.
Will I feel my partner moving on the super king Coolflex Hybrid CHILL?
Less than on smaller sizes. You get two things working together: up to 800 individually pocketed springs that absorb movement rather than transmitting it, and 90cm each for two people sharing, which puts real distance between you. Distance is the part no smaller size can replicate.
Is the Coolflex Hybrid CHILL super king big enough for co-sleeping with a child?
At 6ft x 6ft 6in it's the most workable standard size for it. A child slotting in between two adults still leaves everyone a reasonable share, which a UK king struggles with, being 30cm narrower. The plush pillow top is forgiving for little ones too, although a firm-mattress household may find it soft.
Should I choose the Coolflex Hybrid CHILL in a king or super king?
Both are 200cm long, so the choice is purely about width and room size. The UK super king is 30cm wider, worth having if a partner is restless or children and pets join you. If your room falls between our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king and 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, take the UK king.
