Layer Details
- Quilted top panel. The top panel is woven with thermic polyester yarn featuring phase change materials, which absorb heat and release it depending on your body temperature. In practice that means a sleep surface that works to keep you at a steadier temperature through the night.
- Latex comfort layer. Luxury Talalay latex, an elastic material with excellent bounce-back, shapes around your body and eases weight build-up on pressure points. You feel supported and cushioned without sinking in.
- Wool comfort layer. A layer of plush wool fibres adds soft, natural comfort. Wool is naturally breathable and a good insulator, so it helps regulate temperature in both directions.
- Pocket spring support system. A double layer of calico pocket springs, 2,340 in total, with each spring encased in its own individual calico cotton pocket so it adjusts to your body shape independently. Thicker gauge wire springs on the two outer rows firm up the edges.

- Real space for two: With 75cm each for two people sharing, you can both change position freely, which matters on a springy latex surface that responds to every movement.
- Less disturbance on different schedules: The 2,340 individually pocketed calico springs adjust to each body separately, so an early riser slipping out at 5am transmits less movement across a king width.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm long, this size gives anyone approaching or over six foot room to stretch out without their feet meeting the end of the bed.
- Firm edges you can use: Thicker gauge springs on the two outer rows hold the edge steady, so sitting on the side of a wide king to dress feels stable rather than saggy.
- Cool across a bigger surface: The phase change quilted top and breathable wool layer work the same across the full 150cm width, helpful when two warm bodies share one bed.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and one of you keeps waking the other, especially if you're on different schedules and someone leaves hours earlier. It also suits couples where one partner is over six foot, since the 200cm length is as much of an upgrade as the width, or households where the dog has claimed a corner and a double no longer leaves enough for the humans.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom falls below the 2.7m x 2.9m we suggest for a UK king, or you sleep alone and don't need 150cm of width. This mattress is only listed in a UK king, so a smaller room may mean a different mattress altogether.

Will the Dunlopillo Elite Supreme in a UK king fit my bedroom?
We suggest a room of at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, which leaves space to walk around the bed and open drawers. That guidance is ours, not Dunlopillo's. In a new build master, measure after allowing for wardrobes: rooms that look generous on a floor plan can feel tight once furniture is in.
Is the Dunlopillo Elite Supreme UK king good for couples who disturb each other?
It's a strong fit. Each of the 2,340 calico pocket springs moves independently, so one partner shifting or getting up transfers less motion than a connected spring unit would. Add the 75cm each for two people sharing and most couples find they simply feel each other less through the night.
Is a UK king long enough if my partner is over six foot?
Yes, and length is often the real reason to buy this size. The UK king measures 200cm long, 10cm more than a UK double, which is the difference between feet hanging over the edge and lying flat comfortably. Taller sleepers also benefit from the firmer edge springs when getting in and out.
Does the Dunlopillo Elite Supreme come in sizes other than a UK king?
No. This mattress is currently listed in a UK king only, at 150 x 200cm. If your room or budget points to a smaller size, you'd need to look at a different mattress rather than a smaller version of this one.
Where can I compare prices for the Dunlopillo Elite Supreme UK king?
Use the live price table on this page. The prices shown here are updated as retailers change them, so you're seeing current figures rather than a snapshot. Given this is a premium mattress, checking the table before you buy is a sensible habit even if you've already decided on it.
