- Dunlopillo® Plus Sleep Surface. A cooling fabric that stays around 1°C below your body temperature, which means the surface should feel fresher when you get in. A small detail, but a welcome one if you tend to overheat.
- Natural Talalay Latex. 100% natural Talalay latex that contours to your body, so you get pressure relief without losing the firm support underneath. It is also hypoallergenic and highly breathable, a sensible pairing for allergy sufferers and warm sleepers alike.
- VENTRA™ Core Performance System. An aerated foam core engineered to boost airflow through the mattress. In practice, this means heat has somewhere to go rather than building up beneath you overnight.

- 90cm of width each: Two people sharing get 90cm each, which means a restless partner can turn all night without their movement reaching your side.
- Distance plus quick response: Talalay latex recovers quickly when someone moves, and at this width you feel less of it anyway, a useful pairing for light sleepers sharing with a fidget.
- Room for the whole household: At 6ft x 6ft 6in there is still space for adults to sleep properly when a child or the dog appears at 3am.
- Firm support edge to edge: The firm feel holds up across the full 180cm, so sleepers spread towards the edges are supported rather than rolling inward.
- Cooler with company: More bodies mean more heat, but the aerated core and cooling surface give that warmth somewhere to go across a large sleeping area.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and want real separation from a partner who tosses and turns, children or pets regularly join you before morning, and your bedroom comfortably clears the 3m x 2.9m minimum we suggest, ideally closer to 3.5m x 3.2m so you can still walk round it.
Consider another size if...
Your room falls short of the 3m x 2.9m we suggest, or you rarely use the extra width. We'd recommend the UK king instead: it is 30cm narrower, the same length, and needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m.

How much space does each person get on a super king Dunlopillo Firmrest?
Two people sharing get 90cm each. That is the same width as a UK single per person, so a partner who shifts position through the night is far less likely to disturb you. Combined with Talalay latex's quick recovery when someone moves, this is about as undisturbed as shared sleep gets.
Is the Dunlopillo Firmrest super king worth it over the UK king?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king and the same length. If a restless partner, children wandering in at night or a large dog are part of your routine, that extra width does more for your sleep than any comfort layer could. If you sleep alone or your room is tight, the UK king is the sensible pick.
Will the Firmrest super king fit up my stairs?
It arrives as one piece at 180cm wide, and latex is a dense material, so measure your stairwell, landing turns and door swings before ordering. Dunlopillo doesn't publish a weight for this size, so plan for at least two people to carry it. The slim 19.5cm depth does make cornering a little easier than a bulkier design.
What room size does a super king Firmrest need?
We suggest a minimum of 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling right if you want bedside tables on both sides and space to move around the bed. In a loft conversion, the sloped ceiling often decides which wall the bed can sit against, so check head height at the pillow end too.
Is a firm super king good for sharing with children or pets?
Yes, arguably better than a softer one. The firm Talalay surface keeps everyone supported rather than rolling into a dip in the middle, and 90cm per adult means a small visitor at 3am costs you less space. The breathable, hypoallergenic build also helps when there are more warm bodies, or a dog, in the bed.
