- Dunlopillo® Plus Sleep Surface. A cooling fabric that stays around 1°C below your body temperature, which means the surface feels fresher when you first get in. If you're a hot sleeper, this is the layer working hardest for you.
- Natural Talalay Latex. A deep core layer of 100% natural Talalay latex, which means bounce and breathability rather than a sinking feel. It's the material that gives this mattress its responsive, easy-to-move-on character.
- VENTRA™ Core Performance System. Sitting beneath the latex, this system actively channels air through the entire mattress. In practice that means heat and moisture have somewhere to go overnight.

- Fits the typical UK bedroom: At 135 x 190cm, this size leaves room for a wardrobe and drawers where the UK king would dominate; we suggest a room of at least 2.6m x 2.8m.
- Room for bedside tables on both sides: In most doubles-sized rooms this footprint still allows a table each side of the bed, something the UK king often rules out.
- A shared surface that stays cool: Two bodies raise the temperature under the duvet, so the cooling sleep surface and aerated latex core matter more in a shared UK double than in a solo size.
- Movement that doesn't travel far: Talalay latex responds quickly rather than rippling, which helps when one of you turns over or gets up first.
- Easy to dress and replace bedding: Standard double sheets and a 200 x 200cm double duvet are sold everywhere, so kitting out this size costs less effort than the larger UK king or UK super king.
This size suits you if...
You're a couple in a typical UK bedroom and want the traditional shared size without giving up floor space, you're furnishing a guest room that visiting couples will use, or you sleep alone and want space to spread out on a responsive latex surface. It also suits solo sleepers who share the bed with a dog or cat that claims its own corner.
Consider another size if...
You and your partner both toss and turn, or one of you is tall, since 67.5cm each and 190cm of length can feel snug. If your room allows at least 2.7m x 2.9m, we'd recommend the UK king instead: 15cm wider and 10cm longer.

Is the Dunlopillo Millennium in a UK double big enough for a couple?
For most couples, yes. The UK double gives 67.5cm of width each for two people sharing, and the Talalay latex keeps movement localised, so a partner turning over is less disruptive. Broad-shouldered or restless sleepers may find it a little snug, in which case the UK king, 15cm wider, is the sensible step up.
What room size do I need for the Dunlopillo Millennium double?
We suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m for a UK double, with around 3m x 3m the comfortable norm. That allows walking space on both sides and, in most rooms, a bedside table each side. If your room stretches to 2.7m x 2.9m or more, the UK king becomes an option worth weighing.
How big is the Dunlopillo Millennium UK double in feet?
The UK double measures 4ft 6in x 6ft 3in, which is 135 x 190cm. It's 15cm narrower and 10cm shorter than the UK king, so it suits rooms where a larger bed would leave little space for a wardrobe or drawers, a common squeeze in first flats and second bedrooms.
Should I choose the Millennium in a double or a king?
It comes down to your room and how you sleep. The UK double fits comfortably in a room of 2.6m x 2.8m and shares easily between couples who sleep close. The UK king is 15cm wider and 10cm longer, better for restless or taller sleepers, but needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m to avoid feeling cramped.
What bedding fits the Dunlopillo Millennium double?
Standard UK double sheets and a 200 x 200cm double duvet fit this size, and both are stocked everywhere at every price point. That's a quiet advantage over the UK super king, where bedding choice narrows and costs rise. Check fitted sheet depth against the 24.5cm mattress before buying.
