Dunlopillo® Plus Sleep Surface
A cooling fabric designed to stay around 1°C below your body temperature. In practice, that means the surface feels fresh when you get in rather than warming up quickly.
Natural Talalay Latex
A deep layer of natural Talalay latex that gently contours to your body. You'll feel adaptive comfort and pressure relief without sinking in the way you would on memory foam.
VENTRA™ Core Performance System
An aerated foam core engineered to boost airflow and breathability. It helps the mattress stay cool year round rather than trapping heat beneath you.

- A single that outlasts the growth spurts: Latex holds its shape for years, so this UK single can carry a child through their teens without the dip cheaper foams develop.
- Fits the smallest rooms: At 90cm wide, it leaves floor space for a desk and wardrobe; we suggest allowing at least 2.1m x 2.8m.
- Guest-ready comfort: The medium feel suits most visiting sleepers, which matters when one spare bed has to please everyone from grandparents to students.
- Cool for small, warm rooms: The cooling sleep surface and aerated VENTRA core help in box rooms and loft spaces, which often run warmer than the rest of the house.
- Reassuring for allergy-prone children: It's hypoallergenic, which takes one worry off the list when you're buying for a child's room.
This size suits you if...
You're buying for a child or teenager's room where the bed shares space with a desk and toy storage, you're kitting out a spare room or a student flat where only the frame was provided, or you sleep alone in a compact bedroom and want latex quality without giving the mattress the whole floor.
Consider another size if...
You're an adult who shares the bed, even occasionally, or you simply want space to spread out. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which is 45cm wider and the same length; allow at least 2.6m x 2.8m for it.

Will the Dunlopillo Sovereign UK single fit a bunk or mid sleeper?
The footprint fits, since bunks take standard UK single mattresses at 90 x 190cm. Depth is the thing to check: this mattress is 22cm deep, and raised frames set a maximum depth so the safety rail still sits above the sleeper. Measure your frame's stated limit before ordering, particularly for a top bunk.
What room size do I need for the Dunlopillo Sovereign in a UK single?
We suggest allowing at least 2.1m x 2.8m of floor space. That leaves enough room to walk alongside the bed and open drawers or a wardrobe. In a loft conversion, position the UK single with its length under the slope so you keep standing height where you get in and out.
Is the UK single Dunlopillo Sovereign a good choice for a guest room?
Yes, with one caveat. The medium feel and responsive latex suit a wide range of guests, and the cooling surface helps in spare rooms that trap heat. It's a lot of mattress for occasional use, though, so it makes most sense if the room doubles as a regular sleeping space or a home office you nap-proof for visitors.
What bedding fits the Dunlopillo Sovereign single?
Standard UK single sheets fit the 90 x 190cm footprint, paired with a single duvet at 135 x 200cm. Both are the cheapest and most widely stocked bedding of any size. Given the 22cm depth, regular fitted sheets should cope fine, but check the stated depth on budget ranges before buying.
Can two Dunlopillo Sovereign singles work for a shared children's room?
They can, as long as the room allows a walkway between the beds; each UK single needs at least 2.1m x 2.8m of usable space around it, so measure with both footprints in mind. Two singles also let you replace one mattress at a time as children grow at different rates.
