Cover
A Coolmax® stretch fabric cover with micro quilting, which means it helps regulate body temperature for cooler sleep while adding a softer feel to the surface. It takes the edge off the firm build underneath.
Memory foam
A generous layer of body-cushioning memory foam. This is the layer you'll feel first, moulding to your shape and easing pressure at the hips and shoulders.
Pocket springs
A spring unit with 1000 pocket springs in the king size, designed to offer superb support and help with postural alignment. Because each spring moves independently, you should feel less disturbance from a restless partner.

- 90cm each, every night: Two people sharing get 90cm apiece, which means a partner turning over happens at a distance rather than against your back.
- Room for the whole household: When a child wanders in at 3am, or the dog claims a corner as routine, 180cm of width means everyone still keeps a workable share.
- Firm support across a wide surface: The firm build resists the dip that pulls sharers towards the middle, so on a bed this wide you each stay on your own side.
- Pocket springs plus distance: Independently moving pocket springs cut motion transfer, and at super king width that isolation is doubled by simple physical separation from a restless sleeper.
- Fills a large master properly: In a big period bedroom or generous new build master where a UK king can look undersized, the 6ft x 6ft 6in footprint sits in proportion.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and want real separation from a partner who fidgets, or your children or pets regularly end up in with you and a UK king has started to feel crowded. It also makes sense if you have a large master bedroom that a smaller mattress would leave looking sparse, and you both prefer a firm, supportive surface.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom falls short of the 3m x 2.9m we suggest as a minimum, or you'd struggle to get a 180cm mattress round your landing. We'd recommend the UK king instead, which is 30cm narrower and easier to place.

How big is the Highgrove Dream Memory mattress in a UK super king?
It measures 180 x 200cm, or 6ft x 6ft 6in, with a depth of 24cm. That is the widest size Highgrove makes in this mattress, and the largest stocked as standard by UK retailers, giving two sharers 90cm each.
What size room do I need for the Highgrove Dream Memory super king?
We suggest allowing at least 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling more comfortable once you add bedside tables on both sides. Check door swing and radiator positions too, as a 180cm-wide frame leaves less spare floor than you might expect.
How much wider is the UK super king than the UK king?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, at 180cm against 150cm. Both are 200cm long. That extra width takes each sharer from a reasonable amount of space to 90cm each, which is the same as a full single bed per person.
Is this a good super king for a restless partner?
It's a sensible choice. The pocket springs move independently, so a partner shifting position transfers less movement across the mattress, and at 90cm each the super king adds physical distance on top. The firm surface also avoids the central dip that rolls sharers together on softer beds.
Is the super king version hard to look after?
Less than you might fear. The Highgrove Dream Memory is non-turn, so you never need to flip 180cm of mattress over. Rotating it end to end now and then is enough, although at this size that job is easier with two people.
