- 75cm of width each: Two people sharing get 75cm each, which means you can both change position without negotiating for territory in the small hours.
- Less disturbance across a wider bed: Pocket springs move independently, so when one of you gets up hours before the other, the movement is far less likely to travel across the mattress.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, a real difference if one of you is approaching or past six foot.
- Zip and link halves make delivery easier: A 150cm wide mattress can defeat narrow staircases and tight landings, but this one arrives in two halves that zip together in the room.
- A deep pillowtop without a separate topper: The 32cm depth and built in pillowtop give a tall, cushioned surface, so there's no extra layer to buy or wrestle into place on a king sized bed.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a double has started to feel like a compromise, especially if one of you leaves early and the other is a light sleeper. It also fits if one partner is over six foot and wants the 200cm length, or if a dog has quietly become a permanent third occupant and the extra width restores your share.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom can't comfortably take a 150 x 200cm bed; we suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m. Hypnos sells this mattress in a UK king only, so if you need another size you'll need a different model.

Will the Hypnos Bespoke Pearl in a UK king fit up narrow stairs?
This is where the zip and link design matters. Rather than one rigid 150cm wide mattress, it comes as two halves that zip together on the bed frame, so awkward staircases, tight turns and small landings are far less of a problem than with a standard one piece king.
What size room do I need for a king size Hypnos Bespoke Pearl?
We suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m so you can walk round the bed and open drawers, with around 3.2m x 3.2m feeling comfortable. Measure with wardrobes and bedside tables in place, as newer master bedrooms often feel smaller once the furniture is in.
How much space does each person get on a UK king Hypnos Bespoke Pearl?
Two people sharing get 75cm of width each across the 150cm mattress. Combined with pocket springs that compress independently, that spacing means a restless partner, or one who gets up hours before you, is much less likely to wake you than on a narrower bed.
Is the UK king long enough if I'm over six foot?
It's a better bet than most sizes. At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, which usually stops feet hanging off the end for anyone around the six foot mark. If you're well past that, lie on one in a showroom before committing.
Does the Hypnos Bespoke Pearl come in sizes other than UK king?
No, the UK king at 150 x 200cm is the only size we can confirm for this mattress. If you need a UK double, super king or anything else, you'll need to look at a different Hypnos model, or check with the retailers listed on this page in case availability changes.
