Is a super king Nectar mattress worth it over a king?
If you share, usually yes. The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king at the same length, which works out at 15cm more space each. On a memory foam mattress that already softens movement, the extra distance makes a restless partner almost unnoticeable. In a smaller room, though, the UK king is the more sensible buy.
What room size do I need for a super king Nectar mattress?
We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling comfortable once you add bedside tables on both sides and space to walk round. These are our own recommendations rather than Nectar's. If your room falls short, the UK king needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m by our guidance and is the same length.
Will a super king memory foam mattress get up my stairs?
It's the trickiest standard size to move, so check door swings, landing turns and any tight stairwell before ordering. The Nectar arrives compressed and rolled, which makes the climb far easier than a rigid sprung mattress would be, but once it's expanded you won't easily get it back out, so plan the route to the right room first.
Can two adults and a child fit on a super king Nectar?
More comfortably than on any other standard size. Two adults get 90cm each across the 180cm width, so a child wandering in at night, or a dog who considers the bed shared territory, still leaves everyone a workable slice. The foam's motion absorption also means small visitors disturb you less when they climb aboard.
