- Open-cell memory foam. A pressure-relieving open-cell memory foam that circulates air through the night, which means less of the heat build-up memory foam is often criticised for. It cushions your hips and shoulders where pressure tends to concentrate.
- Dual-layer pocket springs. 3000 dual-layer pocket springs that are zoned and responsive, giving firmer support where your body needs it. Because each spring moves independently, your partner's movements are far less likely to disturb you.
Layer details from rem-fit.co.uk product page, September 2026.
- 90cm each for two sharing: Each of you gets the width of a UK single, which means an elbow or a turn over is far less likely to land on the other person.
- More room than a UK king: The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king at the same length, giving each sleeper 15cm more without taking any extra floor length.
- Distance plus independent springs: The individually moving pocket springs reduce the ripple from a restless partner, and the extra width means their movement starts further from you anyway.
- Space when the household joins in: A child climbing in after a bad dream or a large dog settling at the foot is less likely to push an adult towards the edge.
- Suits a bigger master bedroom: In a period property or a generous master, a UK super king fills the wall in proportion, where a smaller bed can look a little lost.
This size suits you if...
You share with a partner whose tossing and turning keeps waking you, children or a large dog regularly end up in your bed, or you have a spacious master bedroom that can comfortably take a 6ft wide bed.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested minimum of 3m x 2.9m. We'd recommend the UK king instead, for which we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m.

Is the Rem-Fit 3000 Supreme Hybrid super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For occasional visits, yes. The UK super king gives two adults 90cm each, so a small child tucked between you still leaves each adult a reasonable share. If a child sleeps with you every night into their older years, expect it to feel fuller, but it remains the most generous mainstream UK size.
Rem-Fit 3000 Supreme Hybrid king or super king for a restless partner?
If movement is the main problem, the UK super king is the better choice. It gives each of you 15cm more than the UK king at the same length. The pocket springs help absorb motion on either size, but physical distance does more for a genuinely restless sleeper than any comfort layer.
How much more room does a super king give than a double?
Quite a lot. The UK super king is 45cm wider and 10cm longer than the UK double, and gives 22.5cm more each for two people sharing. Couples moving up from a UK double usually notice the length as much as the width, especially taller sleepers whose feet sat near the edge.
Will a UK super king fit in a loft conversion bedroom?
Check floor space first: we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for a UK super king. In a loft conversion the sloping ceiling often decides where the bed goes, so measure the wall with full standing height and make sure you can sit up and get in and out on both sides.
Is a UK super king mattress wide enough to share with a large dog?
It gives you the best chance of sharing comfortably. With 90cm each for two sleepers, a large dog curled at the foot or along one side takes less from each person than it would on a UK king. The medium 6/10 tension also means the surface won't dip heavily where the dog lies.
