- Hampshire wool comfort layers. Hampshire wool sits at the top, and it's naturally cooling, moisture-wicking and hypoallergenic. In practice that means a fresher, drier sleeping surface, particularly welcome if you tend to overheat at night.
- Pocket springs. Beneath the wool are 1000 full-height pocket springs, zoned to give firmer support where your body carries more weight. Because each spring moves independently, you should feel less disturbance when a partner shifts position.

For occasional visits, yes. The UK super king measures 180 x 200cm and gives two adults 90cm each, so a small child who climbs in during the night has somewhere to lie without either adult ending up on the edge. If a child sleeps with you every night as they grow, the space will feel tighter, but no mainstream UK size is wider.
