- Cushion Top. A deep-filled cushion top stuffed with extra soft fillings, which means a gentler first impression when you lie down. It softens the surface without changing the firm support beneath.
- Eco Comfort Layer. Silentnight's Eco Comfort layer uses fibres partially made from recycled plastic, including bottles. It's breathable and helps regulate temperature and reduce moisture build-up, so you should feel a little less clammy on warm nights.

Your bedroom is under our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m minimum, or you sleep alone. In either case we'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs a smaller room at 2.6m x 2.8m and still gives a solo sleeper plenty of space.

Is a UK king big enough for a couple on this mattress?
Comfortably, for most. The UK king gives 75cm each for two people sharing, and because the Miracoil springs support you right to the edge, that width is genuinely usable rather than tapering off. If you both sprawl, or a pet joins you nightly, the UK super king adds another 30cm of width.
Will a UK king version of this mattress fit my bedroom?
We suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m of floor space, which covers the mattress plus room to walk round and open drawers. Measure with wardrobes and bedside tables in place, not the empty room. New build master bedrooms in particular can feel tighter than the plans suggest once furniture is in.
Is this mattress in a UK king long enough for someone over 6ft?
At 200cm, or 6ft 6in, the UK king gives a six-footer around half a foot of clearance, which most tall sleepers find enough. That 10cm of extra length over the UK double is often the real reason to size up, more so than the width.
Should I get this mattress in a king or a super king?
The UK king is 30cm narrower than the UK super king, and both are the same length. If your room meets the 3m x 2.9m we suggest for the UK super king and you want maximum separation, size up. For most couples the UK king balances space against room demands rather better.
Does the firm feel help if my partner gets up earlier than me?
It helps, yes. A medium firm sprung surface like this moves less when weight shifts than a soft foam one, and the extra width of the UK king means their side of the bed is further from yours. Together, that makes an early exit much easier to sleep through.
