For a slim teenager who sleeps on their side, the soft feel is a good fit, because lighter bodies get cushioning without sinking too deep. Tall teenagers are a different matter: the UK single is 190cm long, and the UK king adds 10cm of length if a growth spurt makes their feet hang off the end.
