Layer Details
- Graphite Memory Foam. This top layer lets air and moisture pass through the surface, drawing heat away from your body as you sleep. You get the pressure-relieving hug of memory foam with less of the overheating it is known for.
- Reflex foam. A denser transition layer that sits between the memory foam and the springs. It stops you sinking straight through to the spring unit and adds a firmer edge to the support.
- Pocket springs. 2,300 individually pocketed springs respond to different parts of your body independently, which means better spinal alignment and less motion transfer to a partner. Sleepeezee describes the feel they give as firm and supportive.
Layer details from sleepeezee.com product page, September 2026.
- 90cm each for two: A UK super king gives 15cm more each than the UK king, which means a partner who tosses and turns is far less likely to wake you.
- Space plus spring isolation: The 2,300 individually pocketed springs limit movement travelling across the mattress, and at this width there is also more physical distance between you and your partner.
- Room for a small visitor: When a child pads in at 3am, the extra 30cm of width over a UK king means everyone still has a strip of mattress to call their own.
- Cooler across a big surface: More bodies and pets in one bed means more warmth, so the graphite memory foam, which helps draw heat away, helps keep a crowded UK super king from turning stuffy.
- Firm enough for a dog: The denser reflex foam and firm spring feel mean a heavy dog curled at the foot is less likely to leave you rolling towards a dip.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed with a genuinely restless partner and want distance between you, or children and pets regularly join you overnight, and your master bedroom is large enough that a UK king would look a little lost in it.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than 3m x 2.9m, or tight landings would make a 180cm mattress awkward to get upstairs. We'd recommend the UK king instead, and we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it.

Is the Graphite Echo 2300 super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For occasional visits, usually yes. The UK super king is 180cm wide, giving 90cm each to two adults before a child arrives, so a small one tucked in the middle still leaves each adult a usable share. If it happens every night with an older child, expect it to feel snug rather than roomy.
Sleepeezee Graphite Echo 2300 super king vs king: is the extra width worth it?
If a restless partner is the problem, generally yes. The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king at the same 200cm length, giving 15cm more each. The trade-off is room: we suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for the UK super king, against 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king.
Will the Graphite Echo 2300 super king feel too firm with a partner much heavier than me?
The pocket springs respond to each sleeper individually, so a heavier partner compresses their side without dragging yours down much, and 90cm each keeps you apart. The feel is medium firm throughout, though, so a lightweight side sleeper may still find it a little unyielding whoever is beside them.
Is the Graphite Echo 2300 in UK super king good with a large dog on the bed?
It suits a routine dog reasonably well. The 180 x 200cm surface leaves room for a dog at the foot without squeezing either sleeper, and the firmer spring feel resists dips under a concentrated weight. Across verified owner reviews, check comments on how it holds up under regular pet use before committing.
How much room does a UK super king Graphite Echo 2300 need in a loft conversion bedroom?
We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m, and more feels comfortable. In a loft conversion the sloping ceiling usually decides which wall takes the headboard, so measure where you can stand upright at the bedsides, check the door swing clears the corner, and plan the landing turn before ordering.
