Pillow top
A pillow top stitched to the top of the mattress, plumped with British wool, acting as a built-in topper. It gives the surface a soft, cushioned feel without a separate topper.
Individually pocketed springs
A layer of individually pocketed springs that contours your body. It gives support under the pillow top and lets the mattress respond to your shape.

Key benefits
- More room each: The UK king gives 7.5cm more each than a UK double, which means a little more space between you when one of you shifts in the night.
- Length for taller partners: It's 10cm longer than a UK double, so a sleeper over six foot can lie straight without their feet reaching the end.
- Some distance from early risers: The individually pocketed springs contour to your own shape, and the extra width puts a little more space between you when one partner gets up hours early.
- A built-in topper at king size: The stitched-on pillow top is plumped with British wool, so you both get a cushioned surface without buying a separate UK king topper.
- Space for extra pillows: During pregnancy or recovery, the extra width leaves room for support pillows without pushing your partner towards the edge.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and keep waking each other on a UK double, or one of you is tall enough that length matters more than width. It also fits if your schedules differ and you want a little more distance from a partner's early alarm.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m, or you sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

FAQ's
Is the Sleepeezee Opulent Wool Pillow Top UK king big enough for two people?
For most couples, yes. A UK king gives 75cm each, compared with 67.5cm each on a UK double. If one of you sprawls or a dog joins you most nights, the UK super king gives 90cm each, but it needs at least 3m x 2.9m of floor space.
What room size do I need for a UK king Sleepeezee Opulent Wool Pillow Top?
We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m, with 3.2m x 3.2m comfortable. New build master bedrooms often feel tighter once fitted wardrobes go in, so measure from the wardrobe doors rather than the walls, and leave space to walk round both sides.
Is the UK king long enough for someone over 6ft?
It's 200cm long, which is 10cm longer than a UK double. That extra length is the main reason many couples with a tall partner choose a UK king. If length is your only concern, the UK super king is the same length, so it won't add any more.
Should I get the Opulent Wool Pillow Top in a UK king or a UK super king?
The UK king is 30cm narrower and gives 15cm less each, but needs less floor space: at least 2.7m x 2.9m against 3m x 2.9m. Choose the UK super king only if you have the room and want real distance between you.
What bedding fits a UK king Sleepeezee mattress?
Standard UK king sheets fit, and a 230 x 220cm king duvet suits it. The mattress is 28cm deep with a pillow top, so check fitted sheets are deep enough before buying, then compare the retailers listed on this page for this size.
