- A full 90cm each: Two people sharing get 90cm apiece, the same width as a UK single, which means neither of you ends up clinging to the edge.
- Distance from a restless partner: If your partner kicks or turns all night, physical distance helps more than any comfort layer, and the UK super king gives you 15cm more each than the UK king.
- Space when the family piles in: When a small child wanders in, or a large dog sleeps on the bed by habit, two adults still keep a usable share of the mattress.
- Fills a large master bedroom properly: In a generous period bedroom, a UK king can look a little lost, whereas a 6ft wide bed sits in proportion with the room.
- Extra length for taller sleepers: At 200cm long, the UK super king gives you 10cm more length than the UK double, so taller sleepers are less likely to find their feet hanging off the end.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed with a partner who moves a lot and want room to sleep undisturbed, or children and pets regularly end up in with you, and your bedroom comfortably clears 3m x 2.9m.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is tighter than our suggested 3m x 2.9m, or you mostly sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK king instead, and we suggest allowing at least 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king.

Is the Sleepeezee Regent Natural UK super king big enough for two adults and a child?
For occasional visits, yes. With 90cm each for two adults, a young child can squeeze in between you without either adult being pushed right to the edge. It won't feel roomy if it happens every night with an older child, but it copes far better than the UK king, which gives each sharer 15cm less.
Should I get the UK super king or UK king Sleepeezee Regent Natural for a restless partner?
If you have the floor space, the UK super king. It is 30cm wider than the UK king, and extra distance is what reduces disturbance from someone who tosses and turns. Both are the same length, so you gain width only. If your room is under 3m x 2.9m, the UK king, which we suggest for rooms of at least 2.7m x 2.9m, is the sensible compromise.
Can a large dog share a UK super king mattress with two people?
More comfortably than on any smaller size. A 6ft wide sleeping surface leaves room for a big dog at the foot or along one side without either person losing their 90cm entirely. If the dog stretches across the middle, though, you will still feel squeezed, so a dog bed alongside may suit better on busy nights.
Will a UK super king fit in a loft conversion bedroom?
Only if the full-height floor area is large enough. In a loft room the sloping ceiling usually decides which wall the headboard goes against, and you need to be able to sit up and get out on both sides. Measure the usable floor rather than the whole room, and aim for at least 3m x 2.9m, ideally nearer 3.5m x 3.2m.
What should I check before ordering the Sleepeezee Regent Natural in a UK super king?
Check how the bedroom door swings once the bed is in place, and walk the route from your front door, looking for tight landing turns. Budget for bedding too: you will need super king sheets and a 260 x 220cm duvet. Sleepeezee's build details aren't confirmed here, so read the retailer listing before you buy.
