Layer Details
- Cool-touch knitted cover. A knitted cover with a cool-touch finish, which means the surface feels pleasantly cool when you first lie down.
- Pillow top. A topper filled with Dreamzone gel foam and memory foam for that plush, sink-in feel. It's removable, so you can turn and rotate it to help maintain its shape over time.
- Dreamzone profiled body-contouring gel foam. This gel foam responds to your heat and pressure, moulding to your shape to relieve pressure points. It also helps draw heat away from your body, useful if softer mattresses usually leave you warm.
- Soft comfort layer. An additional soft layer that adds to the gentle, cushioned feel before you reach the springs.
- Mini springs and pocket springs. Mini springs sit alongside traditional pocket springs, each adjusting independently to your body. In practice this means support that follows your shape rather than a uniform push-back.
- High-density support layer. A firm foundation at the base that keeps everything above it stable and supported.

- More room each: Each of you gets 75cm of width, which is 7.5cm more than a UK double offers, so knees and elbows meet far less often during the night.
- Length for a tall partner: At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, which means a taller sleeper can stretch out without their feet hanging over the edge.
- Calmer early starts: The independently moving springs, combined with the extra width, mean a partner leaving for an early shift should cause less of a ripple on your side.
- Space for extra pillows: The wider surface leaves room for a pregnancy pillow or a wedge behind your back without nudging your partner towards the edge of a soft top.
- A manageable footprint: We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king, a lighter demand on floor space than the UK super king needs.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed and keep waking when your partner shifts or gets up early, one of you finds a 190cm bed too short, or you want noticeably more elbow room than a UK double without giving over the whole bedroom to the bed.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m, or you sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

Is the Sleepeezee SensaGel 12000 UK king big enough for two people?
For most couples, yes. The UK king gives you 75cm each, 7.5cm more than the UK double. If one of you sprawls or a pet regularly joins you, the UK super king gives 90cm each, which is 15cm more per person than the UK king.
Will I feel my partner move on the SensaGel 12000 king size?
Probably less than on many beds. The mini and pocket springs adjust independently, so movement stays closer to where it happens, and the UK king's extra width puts a little more distance between you. It is a soft mattress, though, so a heavier partner getting up may still cause a slight dip.
Is the SensaGel 12000 UK king long enough for tall people?
At 200cm (6ft 6in), the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, which makes a real difference for anyone close to six foot. The UK super king is exactly the same length, so sizing up gains you width only. Length alone is no reason to choose the UK super king over the UK king.
Should I get the SensaGel 12000 in a UK king or UK super king?
Choose the UK king if your room is at least 2.7m x 2.9m and 75cm each feels like enough. The UK super king gives 15cm more per person but needs at least 3m x 2.9m. If you are upgrading mainly because you disturb each other, the UK king usually solves that.
Will the SensaGel 12000 king size fit in a new build bedroom?
Measure after the wardrobes are in, because master bedrooms in new builds often lose more floor than you'd expect. We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king, with 3.2m x 3.2m feeling comfortable. If your room falls short, the UK double needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m.
