- Bamboo cover. An ultra-soft knitted bamboo cover wicks away moisture, which means less clamminess on warm nights. It also has a naturally antibacterial finish to help prevent odours forming.
- Pillow top. A cloud-like pillow top adds a plush, indulgent surface feel over the firm core. It includes a layer of cooling gel for soothing relief as you sleep.
- Staycool gel. Dual layers of Staycool gel regulate your temperature through the night. They also give pressure-sensitive support, adapting to where your body pushes in most.
- Pocket springs. 2,400 pocket springs in the king size move independently to cushion your body, which means less disturbance when a partner shifts. Highly adaptive nano pocket springs add a finer layer of support.
- Side support border. An enhanced side support border creates a durable edge around the mattress. This helps prevent dipping or sagging where you sit or sleep near the side.

- Fits a busy small room: At 3ft x 6ft 3in, the UK single leaves space for a desk and wardrobe in a child's or teenager's room, and we suggest allowing at least 2.1m x 2.8m.
- An edge you can sit on: The reinforced side support border resists dipping, which means a teenager can perch on the side to get dressed or game without the edge slumping.
- Cooler under a sloping roof: The bamboo cover and dual Staycool gel layers help manage heat, which suits a loft conversion bedroom that tends to warm up on summer nights.
- Firm support for older sleepers: Firm tension springs keep a heavier teen or single adult properly supported, while the pillow top softens the surface a little over shoulders and hips.
- A proper bed for guests: In a spare room that also serves as an office, a UK single takes up little floor space yet gives visitors a deep, supportive mattress to sleep on.
This size suits you if...
You sleep alone and want firm support with a softer surface in a compact room, you're fitting out a teenager's bedroom that also has to hold a desk and wardrobe, or you're furnishing a spare room that works as an office most of the week.
Consider another size if...
You share the bed or want room to spread out, and your bedroom can take a larger frame. We'd recommend the UK double instead: it gives 67.5cm each for two, and we suggest at least 2.6m x 2.8m.

Will the Sleepeezee Witham UK single fit a bunk bed or mid sleeper?
Possibly not. The Witham is 32cm deep, which is a lot for a raised frame, and bunks and mid sleepers usually set a maximum mattress depth so the safety rail stays high enough. Check the frame maker's guidance before buying. On a standard single bed frame or divan, the depth is no problem.
What size bedroom do I need for a Witham UK single?
We suggest at least 2.1m x 2.8m of floor space for a UK single. That leaves room to walk round the bed and open a wardrobe, which matters in a child's room that also needs a desk or toy storage. In a loft conversion, place the bed so you are not sitting up under the lowest part of the slope.
Is the Sleepeezee Witham single a good choice for a child?
It suits older children and teens better than small ones. The firm tension gives solid support to a heavier, growing body, but a very light child may not sink far enough into the pillow top to feel much cushioning. For a teenager who sits on the bed a lot, the reinforced edge is a real plus.
How much narrower is the Witham UK single than the UK double?
The UK single is 45cm narrower than the UK double, and the two are the same length. That extra width is what lets the UK double take two people, at 67.5cm each. If you sleep alone in a small room, the UK single keeps far more floor free.
Is a UK single Sleepeezee Witham long enough for a tall teenager?
The UK single is 190cm long, or 6ft 3in, the same length as the UK double. The UK king is 10cm longer, but it is also much wider and needs a bigger room, which rarely suits a teenager's bedroom. For most teens the UK single length is fine; very tall ones may find their feet near the end.
