- Fillings. English cotton, Hampshire wool, silk and cashmere. These natural fibres breathe well, helping you stay at a comfortable temperature through the night.
- Spring system. 1000 pocket springs and 1000 micro springs in the king size, with 7 zones that mirror your body shape. In practice this means firmer support under heavier areas like your hips and gentler give at your shoulders.
- Support. A double steel-framed support system reinforces the edges and maximises the usable sleep area. You can sit or sleep near the edge without it sagging away.

For occasional night-time visits, yes. Two adults get 90cm each on the UK super king, and a young child can squeeze in without either of you ending up on the edge. The firm feel also helps, because a small body tucked between you will not sink into a hollow. For a child who joins you every night, expect it to feel full rather than roomy.

The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king but the same length, so the gain is entirely in width, 15cm more each. Choose it if disturbance or extra occupants are the issue. If you both sleep fairly still, the UK king will likely be enough, and we suggest a smaller room for it, at least 2.7m x 2.9m.
Does a bigger mattress help with a restless partner on the Village Inspire 2850?
On this mattress, width is the main thing you can change, because the firm feel stays the same in every size. The UK super king gives you 22.5cm more each than the UK double, and that extra gap means an elbow or a turn over is far less likely to reach you. Pocket springs move independently, which helps too.
Will a Village Inspire 2850 super king fit a loft conversion bedroom?
Only if the floor space is truly there. We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m for a UK super king, and in a loft conversion the sloping ceiling usually decides which wall the headboard can go against. Measure the full-height area, not the whole floor. The mattress is 29cm deep, so check that the sleeping height clears the slope once it sits on your base.
Can a large dog sleep on the Village Inspire 2850 UK super king with two people?
It is one of the better setups for it. With 90cm each on the UK super king, a large dog at the foot or side takes space without pushing either of you to the edge. The reinforced steel-framed edges mean the outer strip stays supportive, so a dog lying along the edge will not drag the mattress down.
