- Upholstery - Horsehair and wool blend. The fillings are entirely natural: horsehair, bonded British fleece wool and cotton, plus a blended British fleece wool and cotton layer, all encased in high-quality ticking. It's hand-tufted with felt washers, which keeps the fillings anchored so they don't shift or clump over time.
- Spring system. A single layer of 1,326 vanadium steel pocket springs, hand-nested in calico pockets. Because each spring sits in its own fabric pocket and moves independently, you get support that follows your shape and less disturbance from a partner moving at night.

- More room each: Two sharing get 75cm each, 7.5cm more than on a UK double, which means less brushing of elbows and less quiet competition for the middle.
