- Covering. A soft-touch fine ticking, hand tufted with felt washers. Tufting anchors the fillings in place, which means the surface stays even rather than shifting into lumps over time.
- Fillings. All-natural British fleece wool and hand-teased Devonshire fleece wool. Wool breathes and wicks moisture, so it tends to keep you at a steadier temperature through the night.
- Springs. 1326 vanadium steel pocket springs in the king size, each with six coils and hand-nested in calico. Individual pockets mean the springs respond to you and your partner separately, reducing motion transfer.

Is the Vispring Devonshire small double big enough for one adult?
For most solo sleepers, yes. The UK small double is 30cm wider than the UK single at the same 190cm length, which means you can sleep diagonally or sprawl on your side without hitting the edge. If you're used to a double already, though, you may notice the loss of width.
