- Top upholstery. Bonded British fleece wool and cotton sit alongside hand-teased South American horsetail, Real Shetland wool and naturally breathable bamboo. Together these give a soft, dry surface feel with genuine airflow, which means less overheating through the night.
- Spring system. A two-layer, hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 2,664 vanadium steel pocket springs in the 150 x 200cm size. Each spring moves independently, so you feel support where your body needs it and less disturbance from a partner.
- Support layer. Blended Real Shetland wool and cotton form the base layer. This cushions the spring unit and adds a little more of that natural, breathable padding beneath you.

- Room to share properly: At 75cm each for two people sharing, the UK king gives each of you 7.5cm more than the UK double, which means fewer nights clinging to the edge.
- Length for a taller partner: The UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, so a partner over six foot can stretch out rather than sleeping with their feet at the very end.
- Quieter on split schedules: The 2,664 individually pocketed springs in the 150 x 200cm size move independently, so an early riser climbing out should barely register on the other side.
