Layer Details
- Upholstery - Top layer. Bonded British fleece wool and cotton sit directly beneath you. Wool breathes and wicks moisture, which means a cooler, drier feel through the night than foam typically gives.
- Upholstery - Middle layer. A layer of British fleece wool adds soft, natural cushioning. It helps regulate temperature while giving a little give before you reach the springs.
- Upholstery - Layer. Bamboo brings a naturally breathable, moisture-managing quality to the fillings. It works alongside the wool to keep the sleep surface fresh.
- Upholstery - Bottom layer. Layered British fleece wool and cotton cushion the transition to the spring unit. This means you feel the support of the springs without any harshness.
- Spring system. A hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 1,326 vanadium steel springs arranged in a single layer. Each spring moves independently, which means support that follows your shape and less disturbance from a partner shifting position.

- Quieter early starts: Independent pocket springs plus the added width mean the partner who gets up first is a little less likely to wake the one still sleeping.

- A more forgiving footprint: We suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for the UK king, slightly less floor than the 3m x 2.9m we'd allow for the UK super king.

Is a Vispring UK king long enough if you're over 6ft?
The UK king measures 200cm long, or 6ft 6in. That's 10cm longer than the UK double, and the same length as the UK super king, so sizing up further won't gain you any extra length. For most tall sleepers, the UK king is where the length upgrade happens.
How much extra space per person do you get on a Vispring UK king?
