The comfort layers are made exclusively from natural fillings, British fleece wool and hand-teased Real Shetland wool, encased in a wool worsted ticking. Wool regulates temperature naturally, which means the sleep surface stays drier and cooler than synthetic fillings tend to.
- Hand-nested calico pocket spring construction. A one-layer arrangement of hand-nested calico pocket springs, 1,720 of them in the 150 x 200cm size, each hand-crafted from vanadium steel. Because the springs are nested by hand rather than glued in rows, they flex independently, which means better contouring and less motion transfer from a partner.
