- Upholstery - Top Layer. British fleece wool sits alongside hand-teased horsetail blended with real Shetland wool, silk and mohair, plus a Shetland wool and cotton blend, all encased in high-quality ticking. These natural fibres wick moisture and breathe, which means a cooler, drier sleep surface than synthetic foams tend to give.
- Springs. A two-layer construction of hand-nested calico pocket springs made from vanadium steel, with 2,520 springs in the 150 x 200cm size. Two layers working together means finer, more progressive support: gentle at first contact, firmer as you settle in.
- Borders. The borders are upholstered with protective coir and wool and finished with four rows of hand side-stitching. This anchors the springs to the edge of the mattress, which means firmer edge support and less of that roll-off feeling when you sleep near the side.

- More room each: You each get 75cm, which means 7.5cm more than a UK double gives you, enough that knees and elbows stop meeting in the night.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than a UK double, which means a tall partner's feet can rest on the mattress rather than over the end.
- Less partner disturbance: The UK king has 2,520 springs, each responding on its own, which means an early riser climbing out at dawn is less likely to wake the partner still asleep.
- Usable to the edges: Coir, wool and four rows of hand side-stitching reinforce the border, so the outer strip of the 150cm width stays supportive and neither of you drifts towards the middle.

This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and a UK double has started to feel cramped, one of you is tall enough to want the extra 10cm of length, or you keep different hours and want less movement passing across the mattress when one of you gets up.
Consider another size if...
You want more than 75cm each, perhaps because a dog or child regularly joins you. We'd recommend the UK super king instead, which gives 90cm each and needs at least 3m x 2.9m.

Is the Vispring Sublime Superb UK king long enough for a tall person?
It measures 200cm long, or 6ft 6in, which is 10cm longer than a UK double. If height is your main reason for upgrading, sizing up to the UK super king won't add any length, because the UK super king is the same 200cm. The UK king already gives you the extra length.
