- Upholstery. Entirely natural fillings: blended real Shetland wool and cotton, plus hand-teased horsetail blended with more Shetland wool, all encased in high-quality ticking. Hand-tied woollen tufts and twine hold the fillings in place, which means less shifting and lumping over the years.
- Springs. A two-layer, hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 2,244 vanadium steel springs in the 150 x 200cm size. Nesting the springs by hand lets them sit closer together, so support follows your body's contours more precisely.
- Borders. The borders are upholstered with protective coir and wool and finished with three rows of hand side-stitching, which keeps the edges firm and durable. Horizontal handles make turning easier, and air vents help the natural fillings breathe.
