Layer Details
- Upholstery, top layer. Blended Shetland wool and cotton sit alongside hand-teased horsetail blended with more Shetland wool, all encased in high-quality ticking. Wool and cotton breathe well, which means the sleeping surface stays drier and more temperate through the night.
- Springs. A two-layer hand-nested calico pocket spring construction with 2,244 hand-nested vanadium steel pocket springs in the 150 x 200cm size. Because each spring works independently, you get close contouring and less disturbance from a partner moving about.
- Borders. The borders are upholstered with protective coir and wool, then finished with three rows of hand side-stitching. This reinforces the perimeter, which means firmer edge support and a mattress that keeps its shape over years of use.

- More room than a UK king: The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king and the same length, so each of you gets 15cm more, which means fewer elbows meeting in the middle.
- Distance from a restless partner: Independent pocket springs limit how far movement travels, and with 90cm each a partner turning over is also physically further from you.
- Space when the household piles in: When a small child arrives at 3am or the dog settles across the foot, the soft, cradling surface still leaves each adult a usable share of the bed.
- In proportion in a large room: In a period bedroom or a generous master, a 6ft x 6ft 6in bed fills the wall properly, where a UK king can look slightly lost.
- Edges you can sleep on: The borders are hand side-stitched to hold their shape, which means you can use the full 180cm width rather than drifting away from a soft outer strip.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed with someone who moves a lot in the night, your children or dogs regularly end up sleeping with you, or your bedroom is at least 3m x 2.9m and a smaller bed would look undersized in it.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom falls short of our suggested 3m x 2.9m, or your door and landing leave little room to manoeuvre. We'd recommend the UK king instead, which needs at least 2.7m x 2.9m.

Is the Vispring Tiara Superb UK super king worth it over the UK king?
It depends on how you sleep together. The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king and the same length, giving each of you 15cm more. If a restless partner or visiting children regularly wake you, that width helps. If you both sleep fairly still, the UK king will feel spacious enough.
How much space does each person get on a Vispring Tiara Superb UK super king?
Two people sharing get 90cm each. On the UK double you would have 67.5cm each, so the UK super king gives you 22.5cm more width per person. In practice, you can turn over or spread out without reaching your partner's side.
What should I measure before ordering a Vispring super king?
Measure your door openings, how far each door swings, and any tight turns on the landing, against 180 x 200cm and a 23cm depth. For the room itself, allow at least 3m x 2.9m, and around 3.5m x 3.2m if you want it to feel comfortable. Check the brand's own guidance if your access is tight.
Can two adults and a child sleep on a UK super king Vispring Tiara Superb?
Yes, for the occasional night. Two adults get 90cm each, so a small child in the middle takes some of that, but everyone still has room to lie flat. The Soft tension suits lighter bodies well, which means a child sinks in comfortably rather than sleeping on top of the surface.
Does a Vispring Tiara Superb super king work in a loft conversion bedroom?
It can, but the roof slope usually decides where it goes. Put the headboard end against the full-height wall so you can sit up in bed, and check you still have the 3m x 2.9m we suggest once the low-ceiling floor area is discounted. If you don't, the UK king is the safer fit.
