- Support system. The core is 1000 traditional pocket springs, each encased in its own fabric pocket. Every spring reacts independently to your body shape, which means support where you need it and less disturbance from a partner's movement.
- Edge support. Butterfly springs around the border create a sturdy edge, backed by a rod frame that secures the spring system right to the perimeter. In practice, this means you can use the full width of the bed and sitting on the edge feels stable.

The UK king is 200cm (6ft 6in) long, 10cm longer than a UK double. That extra length is often the main reason tall sleepers size up. Check the height of the taller sleeper against 6ft 6in, and remember that pillows take up some length at the head end.
