Assessed from Komfi's published specification for this mattress, captured October 2026, and from regular price comparison across our UK retail partners.
Why should you choose this mattress?
Because the whole mattress is one layer of high-density reflex foam, the feel is consistent from edge to edge, with no softer comfort layer to sink into. That suits you if you like to sleep on top of a mattress rather than in it. The cover is removable and washable, which makes it easier to keep fresh. It's non-flip, so you only rotate it head to toe. It's made in the UK, and the Ecofoam is recyclable. Komfi gives a 10-year guarantee, and the price level is affordable.
Key features & layer details
We’re still collecting information on this mattress. Unfortunately, we don’t have its key features yet.
Best suited for?
Back sleepers
The single layer of high-density reflex foam gives a very firm, flat surface, which suits anyone who wants to lie on top of the mattress.
Budget buyers
Komfi describes the price level as affordable, and the 10-year guarantee and 42-night trial add reassurance for anyone watching what they spend.
Eco-conscious buyers
Made in the UK with recyclable Ecofoam, this mattress gives anyone mindful of their footprint a more considered choice, along with a washable cover to extend its life.
Front sleepers
With no soft comfort layer to sink into, the firm foam keeps the body level from edge to edge, which can suit people who sleep face down.
If you prefer sleeping on a soft or medium mattress, this might not be the best choice. Komfi describes it as the firmest in its range, and there's no plush layer on top to cushion your shoulders and hips. Side sleepers and lighter sleepers may find it too hard. Komfi doesn't publish a numeric firmness rating.
Save on an earlier or ex-display model
Some retailers still sell the earlier version of this mattress, or ex-display and returned stock at a lower price. These are the sizes where it costs less than the current model's best price.

FAQ's
How firm is the Komfi Vitality Ultra Firm?
Komfi calls it the firmest mattress in the Vitality range, and it's listed as extra firm. It suits sleepers who want a hard, flat feel, but anyone who prefers some cushioning is likely to find it too firm.
What sizes does the Komfi Vitality Ultra Firm come in?
It comes in UK Single, Small Double, Double, King and Super King. Each size is 20cm deep. Not every retailer stocks every size, so check the size you need before you order.
How deep is the Komfi Vitality Ultra Firm?
It's 20cm deep in every size. That's a single thick layer of reflex foam rather than a stack of comfort layers, so the depth is all support.
Can you flip the Komfi Vitality Ultra Firm?
No, it's a non-flip mattress. You can rotate it head to toe to spread wear. Because it's a single layer of foam, there's no separate top layer that needs turning over.
Does the Komfi Vitality Ultra Firm come with a trial or guarantee?
Komfi gives a 10-year guarantee. Archers Sleepcentre offers a 42-night comfort trial on it, which is the retailer's own offer, so check the conditions with them before buying.
