PolarLuxe™ ultra cooling cover
An ultra cooling cover that feels instantly cool and refreshing when you first lie down. It's the first line of defence for hot sleepers.
Diamond Cool™ foam layer
Visco-elastic foam infused with graphite particles, which conduct excess heat away from your body. In practice, that means less of the heat build-up memory foam is known for.
HRXComfort™ foam layer
A comfort foam that lets you snuggle in without sinking down. You get cushioning at the surface while staying reasonably easy to move around on.
AeroFlex™ pocket springs
Individually pocketed springs that distribute your weight evenly, giving balanced support with pressure relief. They also add the responsiveness that all-foam mattresses can lack.
HRXSupport™ foam layer
A precision-engineered base foam that Emma guarantees will keep its shape for 10 years. This is what stops the mattress sagging over time.
Anti-slip bottom cover
A grippy underside that keeps the mattress in place on your bed frame all night. A small detail, but useful on slatted or divan bases.

- 90cm of width each: Two people sharing get 90cm each, which means a partner who turns over frequently is far enough away to stop being your problem.
- Room for night-time visitors: When a child pads in at 3am, or the dog claims a corner as routine, everyone still keeps a workable share of the bed.
- Softness that stays personal: The medium soft feel and pocket springs cushion each sleeper individually, and at this width you rarely drift into each other's dip anyway.
- Cooling across a bigger surface: The PolarLuxe cover and graphite-infused Diamond Cool foam draw heat away, and the extra width means less shared body heat to begin with.
- Presence for a large room: At 29cm deep and 180cm wide, it holds its own in a big master bedroom where a UK king can look slightly lost.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and want the most space a standard UK size offers, your partner is restless enough that distance matters more than any comfort layer, or your household includes children or a large dog who regularly join you. It also suits a spacious master bedroom, in a period property or a big new build, where a UK king would look undersized against the wall.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than the 3m x 2.9m we suggest as a minimum, or you sleep alone. In either case we'd recommend the UK king instead, which is 30cm narrower and far easier to place.

Is the Emma Diamond Hybrid Deluxe super king big enough for a family?
For most families, yes. At 180cm wide, two adults get 90cm each, so a small child climbing in at night still leaves everyone a reasonable share. The medium soft feel is forgiving for little ones too. A large dog joining as well will squeeze things, but this is the roomiest size Emma offers for this mattress.
Will the Emma Diamond Hybrid Deluxe super king fit in my bedroom?
Measure first. The mattress is 180 x 200cm, and we suggest a room of at least 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling comfortable once you add bedside tables and walking space. Check door swings and landing turns too; at this size, the route to the bedroom can be the real obstacle.
Does a super king actually help with a restless partner?
More than any comfort layer can. With 90cm each on this size, you can lie a full arm's length apart, so tossing and turning happens at a distance. The AeroFlex pocket springs help as well, since each spring compresses individually rather than rocking the whole surface, but width does most of the work.
Is the super king worth it over the UK king for this mattress?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and that gap is exactly what buys undisturbed sleep for two. If you share with children or pets, or one of you is restless, it's the difference that matters. If your room is tight or you mostly sleep alone, the UK king is the more sensible buy.
What bedding does the Emma Diamond Hybrid Deluxe super king need?
Standard super king sheets fit the 180 x 200cm footprint, though check the fitted sheet handles the 29cm depth, as this is a deeper mattress than many. Pair it with a 260 x 220cm duvet. Super king bedding is stocked by fewer shops and costs a little more, which is a running cost to factor in.
