Is the Emma Original Elite UK king wide enough for a couple?
Yes, comfortably for most. At 150cm across you get 75cm each for two people sharing, and the seven-zone spring system supports each side independently. Because this is a medium soft mattress that lets you sink in slightly, that extra width over a UK double is genuinely useful rather than a luxury.

The mattress itself is 150 x 200cm, and we suggest a room of at least 2.7m x 2.9m so you can walk round the bed and open drawers. New build master bedrooms often look generous until the wardrobes go in, so measure the floor space you'll actually have left before committing.
Is the UK king Emma Original Elite long enough for someone over 6ft?
For most tall sleepers, yes. The UK king is 200cm long, which is 10cm of length over a double, so a sleeper around or just over 6ft can stretch out fully. If height is your reason for upgrading, the length is arguably the bigger win here than the width.
Does a king size help if my partner gets up earlier than me?
