Premium cover
A thicker, soft-to-touch fabric that feels gentle against your skin. It is completely removable, which means you can wash it and keep the mattress fresher for longer.
AirGrid®
A flexible grid of open air pockets that relieves pressure while letting air move around your skin. It bounces back the instant you shift, so you never feel trapped when changing position at night.
Airgocell
A point-elastic, highly breathable layer that moves air through open cells. This releases humidity, which means a cooler, drier sleep surface.
MemoryAdapt Foam
This foam moulds to your body's shape and spreads your weight evenly. In practice, that eases pressure on hips and shoulders while keeping you supported.
SupportBase
A transitional foam that cushions your body and eases strain on sensitive pressure points. It bridges the comfort layers and the springs, giving balanced firmness without letting you sink too far.
InfinitySpring
An edge-to-edge spring system split into seven targeted zones for your head, neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees and feet. Each zone adapts to that part of your body for more tailored support.
Bottom cover
A grippy base fabric that holds the mattress in place on your frame. That means less shifting and sliding night to night.

- 90cm of width each: Two people sharing get 90cm each, so a partner who turns over a dozen times a night simply happens further away from you.
- Softness that stays out of your way: The AirGrid® layer springs back the instant either of you moves, which means the medium soft feel doesn't leave you wading through foam on a bed this wide.
- Room for the whole household: When a child pads in at 3am, or the dog treats the bed as routine, 180cm of width means nobody ends up clinging to an edge.
- Support that scales across the width: The InfinitySpring system runs edge to edge in seven zones, so hips and shoulders get tailored support wherever on the 6ft width you end up sleeping.
- Fills a large master properly: In a big bedroom or period property where a UK king can look undersized, the 6ft x 6ft 6in footprint sits in proportion with the room.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and want the most space a standard UK size offers, a restless partner regularly wakes you and distance would help more than any comfort layer could, or children and pets join you often enough that a UK king already feels crowded. You'll also need the room for it: we suggest allowing at least 3m x 2.9m.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is smaller than the 3m x 2.9m we suggest as a minimum, or you sleep alone. The UK king, which is 30cm narrower, would suit you better and still gives a couple generous space.

How big is the Emma Original Elite super king?
It measures 180 x 200cm, which is 6ft x 6ft 6in. That makes it 30cm wider than the UK king and 45cm wider than the UK double, with the same 200cm length as the UK king. It's the largest size the Original Elite comes in.
Is the Emma Original Elite super king good for restless couples?
It's a strong pairing. With 90cm each for two people sharing, most movement happens too far away to disturb you, and the AirGrid® layer recovers instantly rather than transmitting a slow foam wobble. Distance does most of the work at this size; the responsive layers help with the rest.
What room size do I need for the Emma Original Elite in a super king?
We suggest allowing at least 3m x 2.9m, and the bed feels more comfortable in the room with a little beyond that. Check door swing and any tight landing turns too, since the 180 x 200cm footprint is where those problems tend to appear. This is our guidance, not Emma's.
Is a super king too big for sharing with young children?
Quite the opposite: it's the size we'd point parents towards. At 180cm wide, a child climbing in overnight still leaves both adults a workable share of the bed. The medium soft surface is forgiving for small bodies, though the seven-zone springs are tuned for adult weight distribution.
Where can I buy the Emma Original Elite super king?
Compare the retailers listed on this page. The prices shown here are updated as retailers change them, so it's worth checking back before you commit, as stock and pricing on the super king can move around more than on the smaller sizes.
