- Distance from a restless partner: Pocket springs already cut motion transfer, and at 90cm each for two people sharing, most fidgeting simply happens too far away to wake you.
- Room for the whole household: When a child pads in at 3am, or a large dog treats the bed as home, 180cm of width means everyone still gets a genuine share.
- Medium tension across a bigger surface: The medium firmness suits side and back sleepers alike, useful when two people with different sleeping styles are sharing one mattress.
- The upgrade a king can't match: The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king at the same length, and in a large master a king can look a little lost.
- A considered spend, sized sensibly: This is a premium mattress, so buying the size you'll actually stretch out on makes more sense than saving slightly on a smaller one.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and want space to sleep without negotiating over the middle, your partner turns over more than you'd like, or children and pets regularly join you and the current mattress can't absorb the extra bodies. It also makes sense if you have a large master bedroom, ideally around 3.5m x 3.2m, where a smaller mattress would leave the room feeling oddly empty.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom falls short of our suggested 3m x 2.9m minimum, or the walk-around space would shrink to a shuffle. We'd recommend the UK king instead: it's the same length, and we suggest at least 2.7m x 2.9m for it.

Is the Harrison Spinks Heaven 21500 super king good for couples?
Yes, it's arguably the best size of this mattress for two. You each get 90cm of width, and because pocket springs compress independently, a partner shifting position on their side barely registers on yours. The medium tension is forgiving enough for a side sleeper on one half and a back sleeper on the other.
What room size do I need for the Heaven 21500 in a UK super king?
We suggest at least 3m x 2.9m, with around 3.5m x 3.2m feeling comfortable once you add bedside tables and wardrobe access. Measure the walk-around space, door swing and any sloping ceilings before you commit. In a loft conversion, the slope often decides which wall the bed can sit against.
How much bigger is the super king than the king in this mattress?
The UK super king is 30cm wider than the UK king, and the two are the same length. That extra 30cm is the difference between sharing comfortably and sharing tolerably, especially if children or pets join you at night. If your room can take it, the width is what you'll notice every night.
Will a super king Heaven 21500 get up my stairs?
It's the trickiest standard size to move, and pocket sprung mattresses don't fold or squash the way boxed foam does. Measure your stairwell, landing turns and bedroom doorway before ordering, and check the delivery terms with whichever retailer you buy from. The prices and retailers shown on this page are kept up to date.
What bedding fits the super king Heaven 21500?
Standard UK super king sheets fit the 180 x 200cm mattress, and a 260 x 220cm duvet is the usual pairing. Bedding at this size costs more than king equivalents, which is easy to overlook when budgeting for a premium mattress, so it's sensible to price up a full set alongside the mattress itself.
