Layer Details
- Wool. Wool comfort fillings that stay cosy through the night, which means natural insulation in winter and temperature regulation in summer. It's the layer closest to you, so you feel its softness first.
- Cotton. Natural cotton fibres that wick away moisture, which means a fresher, drier sleeping surface. Helpful if you run warm at night.
- Hemp. An eco-friendly fibre that's naturally breathable and durable, adapting to different temperature conditions. It also acts as a natural insulator, adding to the mattress's temperature control.
- Soft White Fibres. Soft synthetic fillings that add a cosy feel while staying resilient. This layer holds its shape over time, so the comfort shouldn't flatten quickly.
- Eco-polyester. A supportive layer made from 100% recycled materials, and it can be recycled again at the end of its life. A quiet win if sustainability matters to you.
- Pocket Springs. 3750 Cortec Quad Core pocket springs, each encased in its own cloth pocket, which means each spring responds independently to your body. The design prioritises breathability and resilience.
Layer details from mattressonline.co.uk product page, September 2026.
- Real space for two: The UK king is 15cm wider than the UK double, which means each of you turns over without brushing elbows every time.
- Less partner disturbance: Pocket springs respond to each sleeper separately, so if your partner leaves for work hours before you, the mattress barely passes the movement across.
- Length for taller sleepers: At 200cm, the UK king is 10cm longer than the UK double, a genuine relief for anyone whose feet reach the end of a standard-length bed.
- Room for a bed-sharing dog: If the dog treats the bed as its own, 150cm of width absorbs a sprawling animal without pushing one of you to the edge.
- Turning is a two-person job made easier: A UK king with natural fillings needs regular turning, and the built-in handles make managing this larger size less awkward than it sounds.
This size suits you if...
You share the bed every night and have outgrown a UK double, you or your partner keep different hours and want the pocket springs' movement isolation with proper space between you, or one of you is approaching six foot and needs the 200cm length. Allow a room of at least 2.7m x 2.9m so the bed doesn't dominate the space.
Consider another size if...
Your bedroom is under our suggested 2.7m x 2.9m minimum, or you sleep alone. We'd recommend the UK double instead, which needs at least 2.6m x 2.8m and keeps the same medium firm feel.

Is the Levisham 3750 in a UK king good for couples?
Yes, and it's arguably the size this mattress makes most sense in for two people. You get 75cm each for two people sharing, and the 3750 independent pocket springs mean one person shifting position or getting up doesn't ripple across to the other. Lightweight side sleepers should still note the medium firm feel before committing.
How big is the Levisham 3750 in a UK king?
It measures 150 x 200cm, or 5ft x 6ft 6in. That makes it 15cm wider and 10cm longer than the UK double version of the same mattress, and 30cm narrower than the UK super king. The extra length matters most if either of you is tall.
What room size do I need for a UK king Levisham 3750?
We suggest a room of at least 2.7m x 2.9m for a UK king, which leaves space to walk around the bed and open drawers. Measure with wardrobes in place: a new build master bedroom can feel smaller than the floor plan suggests once furniture goes in.
Should I choose the UK king or UK super king in this mattress?
The UK king suits most couples: plenty of space without oversized room demands. The UK super king is 30cm wider, the same length, and needs a room of at least 3m x 2.9m. If children or a large dog regularly join you and your room can take it, sizing up is worth considering.
